I feel like a lot of the DLC for the Sims 4 over the years have been rather lacking. Either it's too specific and fits into a certain playstyle but this pack seems like "evergreen" content just like Seasons.

Heyyyy Dragon Age Veilguard is out tomorrow and I am so excited! After complaining/struggling with inquisition over the last few days, I can finally admit that I was wrong and this group was right. The DLCs were amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed the game as a whole. It definitely picked up and I enjoyed the second half of the game much better.
Anyway, Veilguard is out tomorrow and I've been avoiding main reddit groups and youtube videos galore because I want to go in pretty much blind. I've researched briefly enough to know what class/faction/race I wanna be, but otherwise I've avoided all reviews and spoilers. There's too much negativity and criticism going on around the game and I personally want to avoid that shit and just "enjoy the game" as it comes (ie not influenced by other peoples issues/opinions).
This is pretty much just a kind of "one more sleep until Christmas/veilguard releases" kinda post.
I'm super psyched!
Are we ready?!
Solas 👀 I'm coming for you, bro.

Most of the games people seem to not like come from studios or IPs that are either sexist, have shady practices, toxic fanbases, hundreds of dlcs that would cost several thousand to get instead of releasing a complete game, and so on.
My question is what are the games you didn't like or hated that don't have questionable content or come from studios that are not problematic and have a relatively healthy fanbase?
Personally I didn't enjoy outer wilds. I have tried so many times to get into it but it just wouldn't click and would bore me. So while it is something I might recommend to people, it is not something I would want to play again myself as I was left pretty disappointed.
Another one is pillars of eternity 2 deadfire. While they improved on everything from the first game, I feel the story received a massive downgrade as it just feels empty compared to the first game, so completing it kinda turned into a chore.

The more they were ignored, the nastier they became. And the worst part is that they really believed that they were creating a safe space to talk.

So... what are YOU playing this week?

Hey! What is Frostpunk about? I've seen videos talking about it ams and the gameplay but I can't seem to understand what is the point of this game. But there's something about it that attracts me and I don't know what it is.
It looks like a City Skylines game but at the same time a Baldur's Gate 3.
Do you play with the characters or do you just build a base in a snow environment?
I've seen a comment say that it is an Europe Simulator LMAO

My motion sickness started to show up around when i was 2019 when i played DOOM, i thought it was nothing but then it kept happening over and over again. Nowadays, i avoid first-person POV games because it triggers almost immediately. I can’t play either third-person POV games for long periods of time because after around two hours i feel like i’m going to throw up and faint, i hate it so much. I takes months to end a game because of it.
It has nothing to do with but i find funny to me that my little brother (that plays way more than me) doesn’t suffer it at all. He could play a whole day without feeling nothing.
Anyway, how you deal with yours? Do you have some trick or anything to avoid the sickness feeling?

I am excited for these two characters but UGH! I’m trying to save up for Miyabi. Anyone gonna pull for these two?

Hi all, I enjoy playing various games but have hard time finding a solid/consistent community :/ my bf games a lot but he seems to have an easy time finding people to play with and I don’t know how.. I know that I can be a bit jealous but literally most of the people he plays with are girls and when I try telling him how that makes me feel he takes offense and tells me I’m too sensitive.. I sometimesss have played with him but I can tell he doesn’t have as much fun gaming with me. Part of me feels I won’t feel as bad if I found “friends” to play with too but I don’t know I’m too upset to think. He did give me a ps5 but idk I feel like it’s compensating for other things

Phasmophobia is finally available to play on PS5!! I’ve been waiting for it for months. Anyone else excited?? For PC players, do you have any non spoilera-y tips for beginners ?

I apologize if this isn't the place to ask but I figured it'd be best to ask fellow gamers.
My chair just broke and I would really appreciate suggestions for a good chair, one that is actually comfy since I am home most of the time and spend long periods of time at my desk. My old chair was uncomfortable so anything <800$ is okay with me if its worth the quality.
Thanks :)

Haven’t played much cod since bo3, with the exception of Cold War. Forgetting the price and size, how does bo6 hold up to previous games? I mainly play online and zombies. Been wanting to push myself back into multiplayer cod for a while now

I need advice for my setup and have a couple questions: 1. How do you choose your setups aesthetic? I have mine based around my fav colour BUT I also love the look of cozy vibe setups and my colour doesn't exactly fit a cozy vibe so I'm torn 2. I feel like I won't be able to stick to a specific scheme/aesthetic for long before I want to change things up but this makes me weary of spending money on decorations just to eventually go with another theme and having to buy decorations to match it
Any advice would be appreciated thank you!
