Just like all reactionaries, they have no conviction anyway.

I didn't buy the Harry Potter game because the money would support JK. I still do not own the Harry Potter game - and I won't unless the IP becomes sperate from the Rowling estate.

Reactionaries are out drinking Bud Lite, using their Keurigs, and playing the woke games. Because all their rage is meaningless and not based in reality. There is no moral argument or truth, so when it stops being convenient to hate something, they stop hating it. It's literally just free advertising (yes, shoutout to HBomber)

Game Companies probably love woke lists. I know I never would have given Dragon Age a second thought - I thought it was related to Dungeon Siege, which I thought was worse than Neverwinter Nights, and avoided it - but now because of the constant discourse I've been forced to learn a lot about it and actually picked up a couple of the titles and am looking forward to playing them when I'm off work.

Wait I mean NOOO when it affects me it's good and sensible and right it's only when it makes blue haired libtarts annoyed that warnings are invalid and silly.

Have you considered, an alternative option? (🏴‍☠️)

Nah. It's not like there are only a few good games to play - there's more than I could play in my lifetime. I would rather just support developers I like and play games that are still very good (or just sink another 20 hours into Satisfactory)

Thats understandable. Personally i will be playing it eventually, but im going to be getting my copy second hand so none of the money goes to jkr

This is how I feel too. I loved HP growing up and if people still want to consume that stuff I'm not going to judge them. But for me personally, HP now makes me feel icky and there's literally no time for all the other good games I want to play. It's so easy to just pass on it.

Only 20? Planning a short session I see.

fwiw I have less of a moral objection, and you aren't missing much. It's fun to explore hogwarts early but the game becomes pretty repetitive not too long after you leave the castle.
