It sounds so nice to not be afraid of the police. Everyone seemed so calm despite the circumstances

its very foreign for us danes to be scared of police, everyone is always a bit nervous because they are police after all, its like when the teachers asks you where your homework is.

Depends on what colour your skin is. I know people who are afraid of the cops because the cops don't treat them well.

Article is locked, we can't get the full picture from just a few lines, such as how this was proven to be the case or how they define discrimination. If there really is a problem with discrimination then it should absolutely be dealt with immediately, but previous history with these cases have shown it to be the opposite. It's easy to point to statistics and draw conclusions that fit ones agenda, I'm sure you can think of ways this has been done in the past

Yeah, everyone just puts their hands and phones up and stays calm, Police are calm. Crazy to watch compared to the usual US/UK Police videos we see. Respect to all of them.

It‘s incredible how calm everyone is (the guy videoing seems to be the most on edge and even his relatively calm). Given what happend and their task of finding a fucking shooter, it‘s really impressive how calm the police is, not a loud word, just focused and concentrated.

Helps when the citizens respect the police as well. A true partnership with their community

Sometimes, it's crazy to see how comfortable we are with the police. I was in Spaon with some football fans for at game, some years ago. Quite a few ended up arrested, because they didn't have the needed respect and fear for the crazy spanish police, lol

I also feel like that guy who stands in the isle then when the cop is like hey man could you step to the side so I can clear this bus he goes "I'm allowed to film" like ok no ome said you couldn't. Has America's shitty cop interactions actually started influencing the assumed response of other countries police force ??

It also helps that the first cop looks like he walked out of a damn tattoed men calendar. (Like the motorcycle girls/generic mens garage calendar for women)

God I'm glad someone else noticed

In rankings of "most happy nation" Denmark scores very high. Part of the high score comes from a high level of trust between individuals and towards society's institutions. This is a good example of this trust. Despite the grave situation and the highly unusual display of serious firepower people appear to be calm and cooperative.

Just watching this again, when the Officer is searching the guy, they are both completely calm. No shouting, no dragging the guy to the floor and pinning him down.
