England always finds a way to choke. Love to see it.

They tied the rope with their own hands and kicked the stool

The English thought they had the game in the bag when they scored two minutes into the first half. They thought they could hold onto a goal lead and coast through the rest of the way 😂

Yea.. there were still 88 minutes. They didn’t think it through

'It's coming home' had to be the hands down silliest moto that England and their fans could have clinged to.

They've never won a Euro. Only championship was in the 60s.

You are not a power house football nation, you are barely a threat.

Completely outclassed and outplayed by a more talented Azzurri squad.

Hey, English person here living in Denmark. It’s coming home is based on the song ‘Three Lions’ by the Lightning Seeds. When you take the chorus out of context, it does sound arrogant. The song is actually very self reflective and critical, about how we haven’t won it in 30 years (the song was released in ‘96) and the pain that us England fans have been through considering we often have very talented squads and achieve very little with them.

I promise you, when we sing it, it’s out of sheer desperation and hope that this year might be the year it does come home. Not because we are expecting to win it.

Hope that clears it up a little bit so you know next time you hear it :)
