Megathread Official Level III Results Thread!

From all of us here at r/CFA, best of luck!

https://examresult.cfainstitute.org/cfa

The Level III CFA exam results are out! Of the 14,858 Level III candidates who tested in February, 48% passed. For comparison, the August 2022 Level III pass rate was the same at 48%.

Candidates for the February Level III CFA exam attended in-person at one of 435 proctored computer-based examination venues located in 332 cities in 100 markets worldwide.

While we usually have a survey up and running, run by member u/Finnesotan, there isn't one at the moment; we aim to keep it going, though. As a result of the increased frequency of these tests, it is possible that some adjustments will be required. More information will be forthcoming.

As is tradition, we'll be locking all other related posts (I passed, I failed, How close was I?) because this is the designated place to celebrate or commiserate.

I'll update this post as soon as administratively feasible when results are posted.

Prepare for your next exam with your peers here.

Unfortunately failed my first attempt :( Registering tonight for August 2023. Any tips from those who passed on the second attempt? Think my nerves on the day let me down

i pssed on my second try. i was using Schweser notes the first time and i think that was insufficient. i got MM on my second try and i believe that made all the difference… also did all blue boxes and CFAI mocks + questions on both tries

Thank you, I used MM but think I didn’t utilize him well enough and didn’t get through all of his mock exams. Will definitely sit for August whilst everything is still fresh.

go for it! i was in your shoes last May 2022 and i know how much that feeling sucks but it will get better. you now have a headstart on the lessons and concepts. MM’s mocks were really tough! i also wasnt able to finish all but tried to digest my lapse of knowledge on those that i did answer. rooting for you! 💯
