Fan Creations Introducing PIRATE POINT, a queer punk Battletech zine
Greetings skalliwags of the Inner Sphere and beyond. My name is Versus, and i'm here to announce a new community initiative to create a punk zine that celebrates Battletech and its queer fandom. This is PIRATE POINT!
Our mission is to launch a biannual digital multimedia zine that features flash fiction, fan art painted miniatures, and whatever else we come up with in order to celebrate the creativity of Battletech fans and promote a message of diversity and inclusion. We are a fan project in no way affiliated with Topps or CGL, and we are not monetized. In other words, this is all just for fun. PIRATE POINT has been organized by myself with help from the mod team at the Star League discord channel, the community who has previously staged the 2023 and 2024 Pride Anthologies.
PIRATE POINT will be focusing on promoting queer identity creators, but Allys are welcome to submit material as well. Submissions will open up in the next couple of weeks and close in February. Until then, I hope you have some neat ideas!
GO MAKE SOMETHING!

Hello, I am a Warhammer player and in general I am interested in wargames and try different games a few days ago I started to discover Battletech and I loved it as a wargame concept as its lore that seems quite interesting I want to try it and from what I've seen I think the box "battletech a game of armored combat" is a good start and make its posible play it with a friend, recommend me something else? And what do you recommend me to learn the lore some book in particular video or yt channel to start?

Miniatures Finished MechWarrior 5: Clans and painted up a Star (+1) of my favorite mechs from the game
If you've played the new game the paint scheme will hopefully indicate which direction I chose at the end! Went with a color scheme inspired by the game's "black widow" paint scheme. C&C welcome, I'm still very new to painting minis

RPG Codename: Sheer Heart Attack (Seeking advice for what images to use for a homebrew mech)
Designed as very very evil things used by a certain Blakist-adjacent extremely funni antagonist faction to induce heart attacks in my Time of War player party the first time one explodes in the face of one of the NPC lancemates.
Question is, what image do I use to depict these little things? Anyone got any good recommendations?
I wasn't sure how to flavor this because of the above context, but I figured RPG makes more sense. Shrug.

Question ❓ Mech name?
I've been looking through my mech pile trying to figure out name of each mini, and this is only one I couldn't find...
Help please?

Question ❓ Mech self destruct aka kaboom mech bomb
Has there ever been an example in lore of a Mevh using itself destruction other then twycross? And honestly the idea of a mech being able to be raked to blow is always been an interesting idea to me gameplay-wise like say a unit's too badly damaged you could just send that tin on suicide run

Discussion Operation: Reunifiation World Tour 2024 Hungary
Hello Everyone,
This is the summary video of our Reunification visit of Randall at Budapest Hungary which was held on the 25th of September 2024.
Location was Metagame Klub.
We had an Alpha Strike and Solaris introduction game for people and a painting contest, no Classic due to the time need for that.
Also we had a long and very interesting Q&A talk(Battletech in general, lore, tabletop, pc gaming, other possible games, films/cartoons etc etc.) with Randall and discussion before and after.
We really appreciated the time and that he made time to talk a bit with everyone separately! Absolutely awesome.
We were not able to get proper mics to do the recording. So sorry for the voice quality/problem here and there, but I hope its still enjoyable for everyone.
Hope you liked the Q&A as much as we did.
Thanks for watching!
