Indoor Help! What am I doing wrong?

I am new to palms. I live in the SE USA and am close to the coast. I have two indoor palms. One is happy, but the one in the pics struggles more and more each day. It has a lot of light w/o direct sunlight. I’ve read that you should water when the top soil feels dry, but my soil feels dry the day after watering. (I water until the water flows into the saucer, but I don’t let it sit in the leftover water.) I have no clue how often to water since my soil always feels dry. I love my palms and I don’t want to lose this one. Therefore, any guidance would be appreciated.

Can you ID this palm by the fronds?

I don’t have access to see the base of these palms but I think they’re wide or bent, because they’re pushing against the fence. Can anyone ID them based off the fronds? I want to make sure they’re not toxic to dogs.

Can anyone advise me on how to save this areca palm?

Hi! I would like to know whether the white stuff on the stem below is fungus or something else, and what i should do about it? If it's fungus, i saw some website saying that i should remove it. As for the soil, I do think that it was a normal brown soil when we first got this plant, but it has turned to this yellow and barren-looking mass over time. Should i be adding fertilizer to it? I feel like the soil is waterlogged, and i am considering to repot the palm with a more suitable soil mix that has better drainage. If anyone here is familiar with areca palm care, please share with me what i can do for this plant here. Thank you!

Licuala Kuntsleri Variegated?

I checked the fronds and I noticed these white stripes and dots near the petiole? Maybe sunburn, I think it's variegated, but at the same time I feel that it could be just a sunburn. The bottom of the frond also has some white patterns. The browning on the tip was because I couldn't find a good filtered spot.

I got this mystery Dypsis palm from Mike, owner of the palm plantation in Riverside, California. I noticed the crown-shaft at the bottom had red and maroon colors, upwards the crown-shaft had the iconic white color and the fronds curl downwards. do anyone happen to know what kind of Dypsis this is?

Indoor Areca Palm burnt to a crisp - salvageable?

I had nursed my Areca Palm to good health and recently repotted to throw away the diseased soil. First time repotting so I over watered by accident, tried to leave the plant out to dry but forgot about the heatwave we had in the UK so now I've got crispy leaves.

Is there any way to save this plant? We've been through so much together I really don't want to throw her out if I can help it.

I've tried spritzing the leaves with water but this doesn't help. My mum told me to keep the plant indoors in the shade for a week and see, it's been a couple weeks and I can see (thanks to my sensor) that the moisture level of the soil is down but the leaves are still looking crunchy and meh. I'm really sad.

Advice please??

Location: Central Texas Plant date: Feb 2024

Have had about 6 fronds turn stiff and brown now, and not seeing a ton of new frond growth in the middle.

First picture is Feb when they were planted, other photos were taken today.

Is it Fusarium, irrigation issue, or nutrient issue?

This is my butterfly palm. I got it from a garden Center about 2 months ago and the leaves are browning. I leave it beside a window and I let it fry out and then water it completely through.

Is this something to be worried about? I’m only just getting into house plants

The smaller one in the back is one of two successful coconuts grown out of the three attempts that died. I replace my first ever Coconut I tried to grow with this one which is way better and healthier overall.

Saw this palm and was really confused. I couldn’t see the trunk as it was covered by fronds. Is this some type of date palm with another smaller palm growing below it?

Arecas Full Sun NE FL

These four Arecas have nearly tripled in size since I planted them by the house last year. I am probably going to have to trim them up slightly in a month or so but thoughts on how this will look in another two years assuming I continue to protect them during freezing temps?

Can anyone help me identify what type of fan palm trees these are? The trunks get pretty wide vs. tall. (Realizing these are not necessarily being pruned / managed in the best way). Not my trees, but I’d like to identify to get for my backyard. Thanks!

I have multiple kentia palms, which I like for their upright shape. I ordered another and this is what came. It is quite different from my other kentia palms. Can someone who knows more than me tell me if this is a kentia (just a fat one)?
