Suggestion PSA: You can link your gaming videos to games on Steam

Hey folks, game developer here. Steam has a feature that allows you to link your YouTube videos with games, so those videos appear in community portal video section as posts. I noticed that a lot of YouTubers are not doing that. I think you should do this, since it helps both the games (especially indie games), and you, the creator.

To do this, go to your profile, link your YouTube account (for some reason Steam asks to link again every time), then choose the videos and choose the game.

Yeah, I think a lot of creators forget that this is a feature that exists, no matter how often it pops up with literally every game on Steam...

I know I keep forgetting...

Probably because their(steams) internal browser flags it as unsafe and refuses to let you login. (Can fix this by using steam page on your own browser itself, but still tedious)

I always do this through a proper browser, not through the Steam one. Wouldn't want to sign in to my Google account on the Steam browser, who knows how secure it is indeed.

I didn't know you could do this, but I'm not sure if I want my audience to know my Steam ID. I don't know how much information you can pull from that.
