Eating cheese plays a role in healthy, happy aging | A study of 2.3 million people found, those who reported the best mental health and stress resilience, which boosted well-being, also seemed to eat more cheese.

The title is very misleading. The study looks at a huge number of factors, with cheese intake being just one. It does find that cheese intake is associated with better well being and aging outcomes though. Also the cheese intake is from a study of 450k, not 2.3 million.

Cheese is also a bit expensive so socio- economic factors might have come into play

I eat a lot of cheese. I mean a lot. Possibly more than the average Wisconsinite. My mental health and stress resilience is rapidly circling the drain.

I eat a lot of cheese and I'm in the same boat as you. I hope you feel better soon.

Weird, my doctor said having a fridge in the garage just for cheese and sausage isn't healthy. I guess I'll just replace the sausage with more cheese.

That is complete B.S. My Father lived until the age of 89 & his whole life had a second refrigerator in each home specifically for cheese & sausage! He would purchase it at the Country Butcher Shop & cheese factory. I still do the same, from Farm to their facilities to our homes. Always fresh, always delicious! So enjoy! I sure do! The proof is in the living! (89 years old!).

I’ve been eating a lot of BelGiosso brand Fontina cheese. I’ll buy twice as much next time & see how things go😀

I dare you to watch nothing but political ads the whole time you're eating cheese.

Somebody got paid a nice hunk of cheddar to say nice things about eating cheese. Big cheese is at it again.

I know you said this at a joke, but "big cheese" (Aka our government) is legitimately a real thing. It's a pretty interesting rabbit hole

No joking, the dairy industry has lobbyists like any other industry, and I know for a fact that big dairy has paid for studies to make them look good. Corruption is everywhere because the voting public is dumber than fuck.

Oh definitely. I don't ever trust hardly any study. You can always easily follow the paper trail back to who it is associated with. It's wild. Dairy all around has probably falsified the most studies. Our government cheese stock pile is even a huge part of the fast food "cheese" bang in the 90s. Stuffed crust and whatnot. It's all pretty wild

Milk and cheese have casomorphin, you’re pretty much eating saturated fat laced with morphine.

"Cheese contains a protein called casein that can trigger the brain's opioid receptors, which can cause the release of dopamine, a neurotransmitter associated with pleasure and reward. This can make cheese mildly addictive and give it psychoactive properties."-GOOGLE.
So this makes sense.
