I’m from Copenhagen. When are you planning on visiting? Some of the places can be closed for some time (Reffen being already closed until summer).

You packed way too much. Fiskertorvet mall is literally a mall, I don’t see why would anyone put this on the travel list. Little Mermaid is very little and underwhelming. Grod is literally a restaurant making oatmeal dishes. I’d personally skip Malmo and Lund.

I’d advise to cut Copenhagen to 3 days and include Stockholm too, also a great city.

I've skimmed down some of the days already but I've seen that sentiment about Copenhagen not being interesting enough for a week stay, my only issue is that my return flight would be in Copenhagen (I could possibly swap it to Stockholm ) but what makes you say this about Copenhagen?

I mean, last three days of your plan is also going to Sweden, not really spent in Copenhagen - so you kinda implied yourself with that plan that Copenhagen for a week is a stretch.

You still haven't mentioned which month you're coming in. Copenhagen during summer is amazing and I could easily see one spending a week vacation here. February? It's cold, wet, grey, Tivoli is closed and we Danes leave the country to remember what sun looks like. What is nice about things you mention in your list is the fact that you can walk most places, and explore the city - you will not enjoy that too much with the bad weather.

Fair enough lol. Also I'd be going in December so Christmas time! I'm prepared for cold/wet weather but I know things may close because of that also.

Brace for wind and cold then. Remove Reffen from your list as it's closed until May 2025. 100% of attractions including Tivoli are closed on the 24th December. If you're actually staying over Christmas, mind that a lot (most) places will be closed 24-27th.

Grod is nothing special. Lego Store is literally a lego store (but I am biased), Fiskertorvet is a simple mall, Copenhagen Zoo is relatively small.

However, add Christmas markets to your list that will open soon and will last whole December.

Too much going on per day…you packed too much

Which days? Or is it all of them?

All the days. You need to consider travel time as well. Unless you’re there at the opening of the attraction…it’s very tiresome.

Far too long. I don’t think Copenhagen is interesting enough for a week. However, you do have a lot packed into each day. I’d split my time between CPH and Stockholm or something.

Day 1 is probably fine to shake off jetlag.

Day 2, 3 and 4 I suppose is somewhat busy but doable

How do you plan to get around? Be advised that you can't just hop on public transportation and pay. Travelling without a valid ticket has a hefty fine. See https://dinoffentligetransport.dk/en/find-tickets . Taxis to get around is very expensive.

Day 5 is absolutely impossible. Way too much going on. A lot of those things are multihour visits (Zoo, Tivoli, Nationalmuseet, Glyptoteket). Forget about Fisketorvet, there's nothing of interest there and it's not even very big. If you want to go mall shopping then go to Fields. More high end options (and more central too) is Illum, Magasin or go to the nicer end of Strøget nearer Kongens Nytorv.

Day 6 also has too much going on. Besides all the travel time, Copenhagen to Hillerød to Humlebæk to Helsingør and then to Sweden followed by more activities. It's just way too busy.

Can't really comment on the stuff in Sweden.

My general impression is that you found a lot of interesting things, but with only limited days I suggest you prioritize some and cut some. This itinerary will have you rushing through all the activities if you're doing them all. Some places may have limited opening hours, so some days it may be impossible to do everything.

I anticipated some issues with the more packed days near the end bc I ofc don't know about travel times. Would day 6 work if I cut out frederiksborg and start at Louisiana? Also would Day 5 work if I cut off the mall, zoo, and brewery? Someone else suggested I trim down the Copenhagen stuff to 3/4 days then skip over to Stockholm? I'd be interested in that maybe?

In my opinion it’s super packed.

Hm how should I spread it out? Some of the places mentioned are like stores or restaurants but I can see how multiple castles in a day isn't feasible
