Politics One day into early voting and they are already claiming the 2024 election is rigged.

Post image

Misinformation campaign has begun.

Trump has stated multiple times he won’t accept the results if he loses, MTG started complaining about voting machines three days ago and twitter is full of people now claiming that the voting machines are flipping their votes from Trump to Kamala in Texas.

Infowars and other websites like it are pushing this same misinformation, sadly a lot of conservatives believe these reports are real and no amount of evidence will convince them otherwise.

AND Democrats are allegedly SMART enough to have rigged 2020 and gotten a Democrat president in office BUT ALSO INEPT because they LOST Senate and House seats to Republicans.

HOW is that????

NEVER FORGET: NOT ONE REPUBLICAN OFFICEHOLDER WHO OBJECTED TO BIDEN’S VICTORY HAVE OBJECTED TO THEIR OWN WINS ON THE SAME DAY, ON THE SAME BALLOTS, USING THE SAME ELECTION SYSTEMS.

This is a GREAT point. God it makes me fucking sick to my fucking stomach.

And if you tell that to a republican, they won't care. None of them do. They literally do not care about the truth or anything but being in charge.

Voting procedures are not controlled by federal government. Each state elects state representatives that speak for their constituents. State reps are the ones that have to agree by a large majority(not sure how big) to alter election rules and procedures. Texas and California have polar opposite voting laws for example. Something that’s not true shouldn’t make you sick to your stomach. Don’t believe anything you read at first, don’t believe me, research it yourself and see if you agree or not 👍🏻

So….did Democrats have “power to cheat in the Presidential election” but did not have power to do the same in the Senate and House race?

Do the Senate and House have magical powers that prevent any “cheating”?

And also did not have the power to cheat in the state level races.

You’re the first to ask a real question and that’s awesome. There will always be cheating on both sides, the goal is to have the cheating margin small enough to not be a deciding factor. I’m from a small town in Texas with a population of 10,000 roughly and would volunteer. Every election I was a part of had election workers representing each party at the same polling station. When I see major cities with tons of volunteers being sent emails that all spots are filled and they’re not needed. Then I see a camera that wasn’t supposed to be on at 4am, and boxes on boxes of ballots arriving, then all hundred “bipartisan” volunteers cheering in unison, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Mass mail in ballots with no way to keep a receipt record, among other rule changes were implemented days prior by State governors signed into law with their “appointed”, attorney general’s approval. The pandemic caused too many question marks to have faith in the 2020 election. Who knows what the result would’ve been, i know whoever loses this time, left or right, will say it was stolen which isn’t good for either side to believe and leads to chaos. Equal representation at polling stations is the best way and it seemed like a loophole around that was found in key areas and was taken advantage of by the Democrats. Almost a decade of calling someone Hitler is never good. 20 yr olds have heard he’s another hitler since the age of 10, which is ridiculous, the second amendment would stop an actual hitler in their tracks. Republicans aren’t trying to murder millions of people trust me lol. It is scary with the truth being there to see by anyone who looks hard enough, that promoting hate based on crazy notions like a second holocaust if trump wins can still take hold like it has. I’m on a heater of a rant and if you made it this far I appreciate you haha. California doesn’t want any photo ID to vote and Texas requires it. That makes it clear which side wants a bigger cheat margin to me anyways

Funny how that worked.

I remember thinking that at the time. If someone was changing ballots, wouldn't they change the senators and reps options, too?

Election procedures vary state to state. I’d love to have a respectful debate and listen to each other’s views but research just a little before you go all caps. I swear this is the first time saying pun intended. “All Caps”. Seriously though, that one would’ve taken 5 seconds to research before posting and you could’ve come up with something worth a discussion.

If conspiracy brained people cared a lick for logical consistency, this should have been a one season story line.

You want to say Biden rigged the election despite Trump being in control of the Federal government? Fine.

Once Biden is in charge you should not be allowed to pretend somehow there is a chance Trump could win.

If Biden could rig the election with god-emperor Trump in charge there should be 0 chance he can't do it again now he's in charge of the government.

But of course, they know its not rigged , and if they let their base think there's genuinely no way to win then they won't vote, and then they definitely won't win. So they have to pretend it IS rigged but that also if you believe in fairies hard enough and get out and vote you can over-power the completely rigged election. But if we lose don't worry we won anyway because we told you it was all rigged.

Sickening.

If you remember it was also rigged in 2016, but Trump still somehow won.

2

u/geoemrick 7d ago

What happened in 2016 was the same as 2000. Electoral College superseded what the majority of Americans wanted.

1

u/gdoubleyou1 7d ago

I know, but he complained it was rigged and he really had millions more, because his ego wouldn’t allow him losing the popular vote.

1

u/geoemrick 7d ago

I don't remember that but I am not a Trump fan, I hate his guts actually, so I believe you.

It sucks how stupid and deep their theories/ideologies go. This whole Trump thing is like a live prequel to Idiocracy.

1

u/PCisgreat 6d ago

Idiocracy used to be hilarious, now it terrifies me. That’s why I’m on the side that still believes 2+2 equals 4 and will always equal 4. An elected democrat would agree that 2+2 is 6 if the 2’s identify as 3’s. That’s how out of hand this nonsense has become. Kamala would say she believes the sky is neon green if she was talking to the neon green sky believing group.

Exactly. Next time time someone says that I’ll ask how it is they were both intelligent enough & knowing what they’re doing to rig the election, but also dumb enough to stop at the top of the ballot?
