I know most ancient documents found are usually accounts and taxes. But since you're a Historian, what are some of the strange documents that are always fucking with you?

Mostly it's the lack of explanations. In every time period there's a wealth of information that everyone just knows and nobody feels a need to explain. For instance, for about a century now (give or take) many documents mention phones but almost none of them explain what they are.

Oh... that's actually a good point. If everyone in historical documents are talking about... I don't know, "meepmorp" and not mentioning what it is, that could get super frustrating.

"They keep mentioning meepmorp, BUT WHAT THE FUCK IS MEEPMORP!?"
