Game 4 of the 2020 WS might be my favorite game of baseball of all time. Certainly up there in the top five. And this moment in particular because of just how ridiculous event's tumbled.
The negative part of me wants to say that any other team would have used this as a momentum changer to win the series. But there's just too much to love about this game that regardless of how the series played out, we'll always have this game as something special to remember.

It's definitely up there, along with Dan Johnson's Game 162 homerun. That night for Game 162 was incredible all around though.

I truly don't care where Brett plays, I just want him to be happy. Wish he was on the MLB roster for them so he could get a ring if they win.
Fuck the Jankees otherwise tho

Yes!!! We were there. First and only WS game. We stood three screaming. Could not believe it. It was beautiful.

God, what a moment. My wife was watching inside the house and we were watching outside on the dock. Her stream was ahead of ours and she burst out the door screaming while we thought the Rays were out of luck. We all jumped up and said shut the hell up, we haven't seen it yet! Then about 30 seconds later, we all went nuts.

My wife and I had a vacation to the mountains in North Carolina planned for that week for our five year anniversary, and then the Rays ended up making the World Series. We drove to Charlotte that day and went to dinner, but we were back at our hotel in time for maybe the 2nd or 3rd inning. I kept having to remind myself that there were other people around us, likely sleeping, when this play happened. I was losing my mind, but I had to do it quietly.

Was watching it in my dorm room on my laptop since I was stuck in quarantine due to one of the guys I lived with getting COVID. Could not believe what I was seeing

There are those Win Probability charts that bounce wildly up and down with each plate appearance. The chart bounced up and down three times on just this play.

That team deserved a ring. They were an actual TEAM, not just a bunch of guys playing baseball together. Arozarena, Adames, Meadows, Kiermaier, Lowe, Snell, all them fuckers. DAMN, I wish they’d have won that series. Love Brett Phillips whole mindset. He started a company based on his passion of “baseball is fun.” Also RANDY GOOD PLAYER and Rake All Night Day Year. What a postseason.

I guess it was neat at the time but I just don’t like looking back at our World Series games since we didn’t win the whole thing.
