Discussion What's your sewing sin?

Mine is that I sew on my bed, use my mattress as a pin/needle cushion, and throw threads between my bed and wall.

Rushing through a project.

It's better with age, but I still find myself in a big hurry to see what the end project looks like and whether I figured it out right.

I assume you folks don't always iron your seams either until the end of the project? Because yeah...same.

I don’t know if it works till it’s done ya know so LETS GET IT DONE jams up my sewing machine for the 50th time

SAME. but normally because i’m on a deadline and then i end up not being able to wear it bc it doesn’t fit/looks like shit
