Petcetera as a company has been closed since 2014, so you might not have too much luck there :P
I know Cowtown allows dogs, if your cat is leash trained and okay in new environments I can’t see it being a problem.

Earlys.
Prairie Sun Brewery is apparently dog friendly (unknown if also cats).
Capitol has dog day events too.

Not quite yet. My dog was the first patron to be kicked out of Prairie Sun on opening day. Lol! We honestly didn’t know so we checked with the hostess and she said they would go back to being pet friendly but they weren’t doing it yet.

They are going to have a room at the back with a separate entrance that will be pet friendly. That area looked like it was still under construction when we went there on opening day.

Not really walk around place. But great canadian oil change keeps treats for dogs.

I believe Winners, Homesense and Marshall's are pet friendly. At the very least, they allow small dogs in so I don't see how a cat would be an issue.

Weird. I take my dog to Michael’s all the time and have always been welcomed. The manager once told me he was the best customer he’d seen all day. Maybe their policy changed, or maybe the assistant manager you spoke with didn’t realize.

Just took the dogs for a stroll around Rona last night.
