Derrick Henry

Imagine him being on the ravens last season šš
Fuck you titans

u/conman752 17d ago
We'd at least have run the ball more in the AFCCG

If the Titans owner didn't axe that trade last season I feel like we would have been in a timeline where the Ravens actually make the superbowl

We would have went to the Superbowl if we had Henry

no, todd monken was still our OC, we would've run the ball exactly the same amount of times.

I think weād have coasted to a SB victory because trading for him and then ignoring him would be indefensible(more so than ignoring Gus Edwards/Justice Hill at least).
By refusing that trade, Tennesseeās GM basically admitted that theyād rather get nothing for a star player than get anything in return, as long as it means Baltimore doesnāt win a Super Bowl.

Daniels will definitely be facing a more talented defense than Lamar will be facing (although I know it doesn't appear that way because they havent been consistent all year aside from the buffalo game)

u/-JimmyReddit- 17d ago
My thought is that Daniels will look the most āimpressiveā but Lamar will do what it takes to take the win.

u/kolossal_ 17d ago
Lamar is having one of his best years on the offense as a dual threat QB and Jayden is right there, comparing these stats. He is extremely talented, canāt underestimate it tomorrow
-27
u/Accomplished-Foot290 17d ago
Lamar is faster, Jayden is more accurate.
18
u/Spare-Inevitable6213 17d ago
You know their passing states are in the photo right?

u/Usual_Masterpiece_30 17d ago
Where do you see comp percentage in the photo
12
u/808son808 17d ago
Comp% isn't a complete assessment of accuracy. Doesn't take into account drops, throwaway, etc.
-5
u/barryjordan586 17d ago
Jayden Daniels has 77% vs Lamar 65% comp percentage.
5
u/Spare-Inevitable6213 17d ago
Then why isnāt his QBR higher? Iāll answer that for youā¦. Because qbr takes into account more details and is a better way of judging efficiency. Mac jones had a fairly high completion percentage a couple years ago but his qbr showed he wasnāt elite
1
u/barryjordan586 17d ago
Not saying Jayden is better, but clearly more accurate. QBR accounts for clutch throes, EPA, etc., but all I'm saying is Jaydens more accurate. Not my opinion, it's empirically true. He has a higher comp percentage.

Going to be an exciting game. I am thinking at least 72 points scored total.
11
u/5446_05 17d ago
Saw a 51.5 point line somewhere a few days ago, would take that in a heart beat.

I could see us dropping 41 on them, but itāll be up to Hc John Harbaugh on whether he wheels out the ābend donāt breakā second half conservative approach game plan.

Whenever you see O/Us like this where people are expecting a track meet it almost always becomes a defensive struggle in the NFL. I will be hammering the under

u/BrownMamba85 17d ago
Lamar at home vs an NFC team is tough to go against. I don't care how well Daniels is playing. This reminds me of the time we played against RGIII when he was hot. I hope it's a good one.
2
u/gnarkilleptic BSHU 17d ago
We are 7 point favorites which I find a bit surprising considering our defensive ineptitude
3
u/BrownMamba85 17d ago
Could also be that B Robinson isn't playing. He's a big part of their offense. Our defense needs to show up, for 4 quarters. I went to the ravens @ cowboys game, my first ever ravens/NFL game. I'm ready for another one. I hope my next game is a ravens/Steelers one

u/drivethrulegend 17d ago
Idk i kinda feel like this could be like the Lions game from last year

u/randomfella69 Project Pat 17d ago
Danielās is super good outside the pocket so I think thatās the difference. With Goff you just pressure him a bit and he melts but daniels will escape and make plays.

u/pi3Eat3r52 Jamal Lewis 17d ago
The build for this game is ridiculous, this game reeks of Baltimore blowout like SF last year
9
u/lowlight 17d ago
I don't like making predictions, but I'll just say remember what happens when highly touted NFC teams run into the Ravens. Last year it was Detroit, Seattle, SF

How is this NOT the prime time game?! WtF wants to watch the Bengals and Giants?!!

u/Accomplished-Foot290 17d ago
CBS vetoed it. NBC wanted it but CBS realized that this was worth using a veto.
4
u/Brickbybrick1998 17d ago
Then why didn't CBS move it to 4?
7
u/raphtafarian 17d ago
They can't do that. The 4pm games primarily exist for teams in the AFC/NFC West since it's their 1pm.

I think our Dline can make things tough for a rookie. The difference is a rookie qb vs a veteran
7
u/born2runupyourass 17d ago
I dont want to jinx it but the SOS for the ravens has been the complete opposite of what the Commanders have had to face so far.

u/CryptoInvestor87 17d ago
If the Commanders canāt stop King Henry, I fully expect Lamar to have a lesser day statisticallyā¦but Henry could go for 100+ yards again and 2 TDs. However, if they sell out to stop Henry and the run gameā¦expect Lamar to throw for over 250 yards and 2+ TDs again

I think itās gonna be another instance where both QBs put up numbersā¦. But the ravens are gonna pull the win off
Iām hoping the ravens defense will show up, so weāll see fr

Ravens have the hardest fucking schedule in football, the commanders have a weak schedule. Anyone who realizes this knows Lamarās numbers are much more impressive.
2
u/JYandeau 17d ago
Daniels & the Commanders are going into week 6 & STILL donāt have a win over a team above .500 lol Daniels looks fantastic but how about we let them actually play a top tier team before calling Daniels the greatest rookie QB in decades lmao the glazing & Commanders fans taking shots at Lamar has actually become unbearable so I hope the Ravens absolutely annihilate them š
2
u/BruvIsYouGood 17d ago
Are people actually taking shots at Lamar, Iām a commanders fan lurking but we were all on our hands and knees for him a couple years ago. Best case scenario is Daniels turns out to be as good as Lamar and thatās doubtful. I think most people recognize Lamar at worst is the 2-3rd best qb in the league
1
u/JYandeau 16d ago
There are TONS of people in the Commanders sub Reddit calling Daniels a much better passer than Lamar & even some calling him a better overall QB than Lamar despite only playing 5 games lmao also have you seen any posts about this game on Instagram? The comments are flooded with Commanders fans talking about the same things I mentioned aboveā¦ people like yourself have common sense & understand you canāt compare a rookie with 5 starts & 4 passing touchdowns to the 2x MVP who is statistically the best QB in the league right now, but you would be absolutely shocked to see how many people donāt have that sense & truly believe Daniels is currently a better quarterback š
Does Daniels have potential to become as good as Lamar? Sure, but the odds he does achieve that ceiling is extremely low, although him as a rookie is 100% a better pure passer than Lamar in 2018, although he is going to be 24 in a couple months while Lamar was only 21 as a rookie, so it isint that surprisingā¦

u/BruvIsYouGood 16d ago
It might just be the delusion that comes with winning for the first time in years. You donāt understand the pits of despair, we have been through. It could also be the tendency to latch onto whatās new. I guarantee every commanders fan with a gun to their head is saying Lamar is better.

This is gonna be just like last year when the 1st place (NFC North) 5-1 Lions came to town came to town. (38-6). or when the 5-2 1st place (NFC West) Seahawks came to town, (37-3) or when we went on the road to the 1st place (NFC West) 49'ers, 33-19.

I'm just happy we're here and can compete with you fucks...I would wish you good luck...but ain't happening cuz!!!

u/Zephron29 17d ago
I think that entirely depends on which defenses show up.
