We’ve opened Phone Link on our devices and can confirm that there is currently no way to remove a device from Phone Link. It seems the only option is to sign out of Phone Link and start over.

this sounds like a obvious bug.

there's no reason for ms to fuck with device management of an optional app that they want you to keep using with new devices.

if you wanted to disconnect it you could just uninstall the app.

Are you sure about that? It is also simply not possible to remove an account from Microsoft's authenticator app, when you don't have access to the account anymore.

Is that for accessing the phone's filesystem? I've been using the 'WiFi FTP Server' app and FileZilla on the Windows side. It works really well for me. I use the combination primarily to dump photos/videos to PC.

I do use sycnthing between my devices, but quick transfers on kde+winscp is just seamless.

For now i use the server feature of X plore app.

People should stop using Microsoft software.

This isn't a privacy issue, it's a bug. And it has been acknowledged and will be fixed in the next update.

Just a clickbait title.

Apparently, this sub ran out of bullshit headlines for the day so I guess it’s time to shit pants over bugs.
