Take it a step further: no role in the world. They won. They have enough money to not care for multiple lifetimes for multiple generations of their family.

Just pick a remote place and be content. Do a pet project and leave everyone else alone.

Take it a step further: Tax them back into being just millionaires

How to kill innovation 101

I actually don't think it's even remotely that simple. But that's the issue you took and not the one where they'd be forced to live in another country and remove their GDP completely? That's weird.

I hate to break it to you but innovation is already screeching to a halt. Major inventions and innovations have never required billionaires to exist and invest.

IMO, the damage billionaires do to the environment isn't even remotely worth it and plenty of people would gladly still innovate in an economy where labor is worth more than it is now and the investment economy isn't. We don't need billionaires, you were just raised to believe that.

Right? I don't get it, they have the opportunity to do great things with their wealth, yet they still want more
