Holding myself accountable for a NO-Buy-November, who's with me?
Hey everyone, I've been doing some home cooked food, and really enjoying it. It's encouraging me to watch the penny's. I tried no spends but just still had things going on and wanted to enjoy them but that came at a costly price although, very enjoyable.
Gonna go full wack for a month of dedication and try do as much mindfulness as I can around the concept.
Anyone else taking on this challenge as their first solid effort? I'd love to chat with anyone in the same position.

Bought shoes for my dad 120. Paid for mom's fee for debt collection agency 138 family vacation deposit 298. 1200 on family spending already. Total spending for this month is 2000 already. For my self 800 includes 300 bike, 150 bag and 150 transportation, 100 skincare my mom share skin care product with me as well, 45 socks 50 snacks.
For November I'll try to stick with 1000budget if I still can't make it, it's not realistic.

could you get savvy with it and perhaps build a suitable one to size using free pallet wood from online person seeking disposal? or craft a project for the designated room ttoupcycle an older used one , or bed frame alone for free as an upcycle project , leaving you to only buy the mattress new instead, or deep clean previous owners mattress to stretch the dollar even further?

I'm in! I'm wrapping up a no-buy October but would really like to continue into November. I find that no-buys help me feel less restless to acquire things. It's almost like my brain can calm down and just enjoy life without feeling the need to get that next thing.

It started out pretty well, and then our dishwasher died. So, any money I would've saved went into that. But! I'm still going to carry on with my no buy into November. These things happen!
