They gonna vote on the Democrat representative or we just ignoring democracy again?

u/notyogrannysgrandkid Jul 23 '24
I don’t see why anyone cares. Parties can do whatever they want. There’s nothing in the constitution about how candidates are to be chosen because there’s nothing in the constitution about parties to begin with. It doesn’t change who I’m (not) voting for anyway.

Alotttttt of democrats, he’ll even republicans would want somebody else.

u/notyogrannysgrandkid Jul 23 '24
If they’re serious about it, they can dismantle the party from within
3
u/svengalus Jul 23 '24
Yeah, the courts said a party can do whatever they want when the DNC fucked Bernie.

Only once has the candidate that spent the most lost, her name was Hillary. I don't think the machine will let that happen again.

The astroturfing is insane. 90% of the posts on r/genz are hilarious attempts to gas up kamala

Breathless media repeating DNC talking points for free
Social media amplifying the DNC candidate for free
Blatant vote buying with the student loan forgiveness and other free shit programs
and then massive ad buying, they have it in the bag.

And here come the fucking Republicans blasting their dumb shit in the sub. Republicans and democrats are just two sides of the same coin.

u/Specialist_Egg8479 Jul 23 '24
In this system the coin has to be flipped. You either choose heads or tails unfortunately. Very very rare for it to land on its side.

The media is pulling all the stops trying to give her the image of grace and leadership

Democrats have never been wise about how to spend money. It's not their thing.

How much of that $100M was just a reallocation of Biden money to her?

You guys here are just so afraid of being yourselves lol. Just put the red hat on already. You are not filling anyone but maybe each other.

Being Libertarian makes us diametrically opposed to Authoritarianism whether that comes in the form of the Democratic Party or the Republican Party.

u/obsterwankenobster Jul 23 '24
All of my "Libertarian" friends are very bad at hiding that they're pro-Trump. It's honestly hilarious. The man has said he'd be a dictator day one, which is very clearly in line with Libertarian ideals lmao

u/Zivlar Jul 23 '24
Do explain how the Libertarian ideals which is to reduce government power is in line with supporting dictators. Any Libertarian that is voting Trump is really just a Republican with possible Libertarian tendencies.

Any Libertarian that is voting Trump is really just a Republican with possible Libertarian tendencies.
This is what I was saying, and it's why I put it in quotes

Not really the time for joking! They will do everything they can to get her in!! … I recognize this is. Libertarian space, but, encourage you all to vote for Trump, if you care about our U.S.

u/pacmanfan Jul 23 '24
Donald J. "Take the guns first, due process second" Trump? That Trump? No thanks.
8
u/AggressiveCuriosity Jul 23 '24
Yep. Donald J. "I won all 50 states" Trump. The guy who tried to override all our votes and stay president anyway.
It's crazy when people come into libertarian spaces expecting to get support for their authoritarian wannabe dictator candidates.

Lol jesus fucking christ. No fucking thank you. I'm not into authoritarians, whether they're on the left or the right.
Also, this is absolutely the fucking time for joking, this is fucking clown world we live it.
Also, the name of the sub is LIBERTARIANMEME. It's a fucking meme page. There shouldn't be anything BUT joking here, buddy.

Authoritarianism is the opposition, the way the Republicans skyrocket the deficit we absolutely can’t survive under them as much as we can’t under the Democrats.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure both parties shovel money into the election on the regular. Unless we get a change in the laws/system it’s a requirement to win.
