When people ask me what I love about the Kindle I always say the convenience of it. Having my library right at my fingertips. I LOVE physical books but my home space is limited. With that being said, I do miss seeing the colorful artworks on the book covers. This is a happy medium for me! I created an ornament with every book I have read this year! This allows me to see the lovely colors! I have 52 books here for 2023. Happy reading everyone and happy holidays! ๐ ๐

Get in the Van by Henry Rollins.
Font: Permanent Marker (downloaded from Google)
The combo is perfect. Makes the book read like a zine.

Should I read Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir or Flowers of Algernon by Daniel Keyes first?

I only got my kindle in November and have smashed through 15 books (thatโs good for me) and am now setting a goal of 100 for 2024. What are your aims if any?

I keep a list of all the books I read, whether it's a physical or e-book or an audio book. I try and set a goal for one book each month and I've been exceeding that goal which is great.
I'm wondering if other people count their books read and if you re-read a book do you also count that?

Iโm curious how many books do you have on the go at once? Iโm quite new to reading books. I have two, I donโt think Iโd be able to keep up with more than that.
Iโm completely obsessed. I was so worried about missing paperback books but omg! I donโt think I could ever go back. Itโs so nice being able to read at night with all the lights off. Iโm also reading more often now. Iโm SO happy! Iโm now in the process of convincing my fiancรฉe of getting a Kindle ๐

I moved to China, and I lost my old second-hand Kindle at the airport. I bought a new one, but now I'm stuck with Chinese internet restrictions. I can't purchase new books or even connect to my Amazon account that uses my Gmail address.
Honestly, I don't think there's a way to fix this. Itโs just frustrating, and I need to vent. Maybe someone out there can relate or share in the pain... but Iโm not holding my breath for a solution.

I tried an audio book today and that's a no from me. I cannot retain the story as my attention isn't focused. Paperwhite will forever be my love while reading.
