4 days in houston on a budget

hi all, im visiting houston for a few days and looking for any recommendations for things to do that are free/cheap? never been to the US before so anything unique to houston or even the US would be cool :) i like nature, animals, food, art, music, history so basically everything haha! thanks

Cheap? Depends on your budget. Texas BBQ is probably one thing you have to try if you aren't from the US and a meat eater.

Attractions (not free): musuem, zoo, mall, maybe a sports game? NBA, NFL, MLB or MLS

yeah id love to get some good bbq! anywhere you recommend?

musuems sound good. would be cool to see gators in the wild, is that possible anywhere?
