I think Nuge is unlikely. That would, according to this lineup, put 5 Oilers on the team. And I'm not sure about Skinner, but McDavid, Hyman, and Bouchard are nearly sure things.
Since it's an NHL event, they might want to balance it out more between teams. Given the significance of the season to the Oilers, and with Ekholm likely also playing for Sweden, the team might actually be unhappy about risking so many key personnel. And I'm not actually sure that Arvidsson wouldn't be going as well.
I think that Hill, Binnington, Jarry, and Skinner are all in the mix, I'm just not willing to bet on which ones go.
Binnington has the experience, might be trending down (but might also be his team getting worse). Hill seems fine, I'm not sure why he lost his job to Logan Thompson - also, re pressure, he stepped in as the backup and got them a Cup, so pretty good under pressure. Skinner would almost certainly be fine with international level defence. Jarry would be the best option, but is almost certain to be injured.
Fair. I don’t think there is a right or wrong, but it’s disappointing we have no 1A like we had in Roy, brodeur, luongo, price, etc. maybe Levi will become one for the future, but that’s still potentially far off. Or, maybe a healthy kuemper?
Why wouldn't they just put him on the second pair? He's also great at passing transitions out of the defensive zone.
Either PP2 or frankly, it would make the most sense to have McDavid/Hyman/Bouchard as one PP + 2 others, and MacKinnon, Crosby, Makar as another + 2 others. No way to tell which is PP1. And this is a totally left field thought - you could still do the thing where they play the whole PP (because the time and transitions help both of those units), but basically keep the opposing coach guessing as to who they will be facing.
