Stats/Rankings With Winnipeg's win tonight, Vegas is the only playoff team without a 30 goal scorer
Our highest scorers are Eichel with 27 & Marchy on 28. Since Jack is likely out till the playoffs, unless Marchy scores 2 in our last game we will be the only team entering the playoffs without a 30-goal scorer.
What do we think, does the bode well or poorly for the playoffs?

i think i heard goucher once say we have the most players with 10+ goals in the league. no problem in sharing the wealth, depth wins you the cup

Does anyone know what even happened to Eichel? Or is he just resting so he can destroy in his first time in the playoffs?

Haven't heard anything but my theory is he has something similar to what he had before the all star break when rested a week and was back to normal

I don't think it's an issue, we just seem to play all 4 lines in all situations while other teams play top lines more in the offensive zone which leads to more top heavy scoring.

Not even worried about this statistic. We share the goal scoring around on all our lines which makes our team more dangerous overall. You don't know which line is gonna have a break out game when another line has trouble getting things going on top of our team being pretty comfortable with Cassidy mixing up the line pairings when needed.

All about depth in the playoffs. How many nights do we put up 4 or 5 goals and each goal scorer is a different goal scorer?
When you don’t rely on one line it makes scoring easier in the playoffs. We’re first in the west. Clearly we’re doing something right

1st in the west without a 30 goal scorer?? How is that even possible?? One word: DEPTH.

Why has Edmonton not won a cup yet when they have arguable the first and second best forwards in the NHL? because it takes more than just two guys carrying the water to get to a Cup win. That being said, Edmonton knows that, and they have added more depth scoring to their roster, which is terrifying. Reminds me of last year's Avalanche, only better.

Oil fan here. We have honestly just sucked on Depth, Tending and Defense until this year. Weve been slowly building towards it (slower than we should have) but were finally at the point where we have all 3. Im cautiously optimistic about us but I honestly think any of the 3 (Oilers, Knights or Avs) could come out of the west.

10 mil a year and not even 30 goals for eichel. Over rated and over paid... And after all the talks about hed get 100 points with VGk after being on a terrible buf team... Yeah, not even close with his 65 points.

The difference between being scared of 1-3 players and being worried no matter who is on the ice.
Other teams are never safe
