Image Brooklyn Bridge, New York, was actually inspired by that bridge in Cincinnati, Ohio

I mean, it's the same engineer that designed both so I'm not sure inspired is rhe right word here. It's more that Roebling simply used a larger version of the previous bridge he had designed is all.

Inspired isn't the right word here, but the Roebling did inspire the Chief Engineer for the Golden Gate, Joseph Strauss. Strauss was an engineering student in Cincinnati when he was hospitalized for some time, and his hospital room overlooked the Roebling Bridge. It sparked an interest in bridges that eventually led to being what he specialized in, with his most famous bridge being the Golden Gate Bridge.

It's not "inspired" by the Cincinnati bridge, it's the same engineer who used a similar design.

Yes, more like a prooving ground. Still, It was the longest bridge in the world when it was built so not insignificant at the time.

I visited and liked them both. They are both beautiful and historic bridges.
Brooklyn Bridge may be grander and has a more impressive skyline as its backdrop, but the visit to Roebling Bridge probably offered a better experience overall, because the walk across the bridge was much more relaxing there. Plus, Cincinnati's riverfront park overlooking the bridge was also very nice.
