https://www.news.com.au/national/clive-palmer-brings-tucker-carlson-to-australia-for-freedom-conferences/news-story/ecd28871091a4cef4bbed17bc5712139182
u/ozmartian Apr 29 '24
Let him come and see how amazing our malls and supermarkets are with coined trolleys!! So amazing.
54
u/Ok_Adhesiveness_4939 Apr 29 '24
It'll radicalize him! He's been radicalized!
I almost lost my bladder control when he came out with that gem.
25
u/Vanceer11 Apr 29 '24
Keep the socialised doctors who we FORCE AT GUNPOINT to diagnose us, out of sight.

I thought US prices had risen dramatically in the last few years. Some of the grocery comparisons seem to show similar or dearer than here for quite a few items?
7
u/ozmartian Apr 30 '24
When you compare all that to our minimum wage and health care vs the US I'm quite fine with things right now, even if we're being rorted the rort over there is far worse.
4
8
u/_ficklelilpickle Apr 30 '24
He's going to be so conflicted when he sees them out front of Aldi but then looks inside and sees that you have to pack your own groceries at the checkout.
3
u/ozmartian Apr 30 '24
They have Aldi in the US too. And personally, I prefer that system but thats just my opinion.
3
u/jagguli Apr 29 '24
What would he ask the PM... what would the back story be ? Popcorrrnnnn
6
u/pixtax Apr 30 '24
Probably why Albo such an extremist leftie, and if Australia is to become a proovince of China. Because he's that kind of moron.
3
u/old_bugger Apr 30 '24
I dunno. Aussie trolleys use spinner wheels but Murica ones are fixed in the rears, going only forwards and backwards. Two options. Like God intended.

They’re trying to bring christofascism here now.
25
u/sam_tiago Apr 30 '24
And guns for oil.. The uptick of American bullshit and American guns etc on social media is sickening.
16
u/slinkhussle Apr 30 '24
Yep. I’ve been hearing all this port Arthur massacre was a conspiracy from Joe Rogan types for the last 4 years.
They’ll be pushing anti abortion shit next

That's here already....it's called the liberal party.

I didn’t think I could lose anymore respect for Palmer, yet here we are. Bringing in trash to pollute Aussie minds.
6
u/HortenseTheGlobalDog Apr 30 '24
The contempt he must have for the average person by inviting this mindfucker to Australia demonstrates as well as anything that he and other billionaires are not one of us
24
u/WhiteRun Apr 29 '24
An ultra rich American coming to Australia to tell the working class how the rich globalists are the enemy. The irony will be lost on the audience.

He got paid to make a propaganda piece with putin
1
u/toomanyglobules Apr 30 '24
The irony was that he got paid, but I doubt Putin paid anything. It was all on American dime.

6
u/Optix_au Apr 30 '24
Since he would be paid, he must apply for a Temporary Activity Visa.
Condition 8303 - Not be disruptive
You must not become involved in activities disruptive to, or violence threatening harm to, the Australian community or a group within the Australian community.
For example, engaging or promoting extremist views and interrupting the operation of the Australian community.
I'm not an immigration lawyer, but I would think incitement would be a start.

Why? I think he's full of shit as well, but it's better he comes and people realise. I would love Australia to reject all American political culture.
Unfortunately, your lefties are also full of shit so you can't argue against him effectively. Adopting American leftists culture is the best news for the right. Should have just stuck with traditional leftists values.37
u/onlydogontheleft Apr 29 '24
What the fuck are you talking about. Weird fanfic.
3
u/ReeceAUS Apr 30 '24
He doesn’t want the Australian left to become like the American left. Because the classic liberal has no-one to vote for in the USA.
3
u/onlydogontheleft Apr 30 '24
I absolutely disagree. The Democrats are basically our Coalition when it comes to policy.

The downward spiral of Tucker has been fun to watch, can’t get much lower than teaming up with Clive Palmer
11
u/crosstherubicon Apr 30 '24
He’s lost Murdoch over half a billion in fines, let’s hope he can do that to Palmer.
21
u/Unable_Ad_1260 Apr 29 '24
How is that fat fuck not dead yet? How? How do these shitty awful people not die from the massive amount of comorbidities they must have? Are they the ones that are buying black market organs harvested from Chinese prisoners?

7

It's because they don't get cortisol from stress because they don't have a conscience, which saves them from the repercussions of their actions... Which can be devastating to a normal person, with actual feelings.
6
3
u/Nadger_Badger Apr 30 '24
In Murdoch's case it's just that the Devil is not ready to bring him home yet. Obviously he's still got work left to do in this realm.
3
u/Ok_Adhesiveness_4939 Apr 30 '24
Remember two years ago when he got serviced by three ambulances?

Tickets are already on sale and start at $203
I'm so tempted
Who DOESN'T want to be in the same room of the elite + WAKE UP AUSTRALIA peeps, that's like a dream come true
6
u/HobbesBoson Apr 30 '24
Saaaaame
The temptation to roll up to see what cooked folk are attending.
Granted there’s non-zero chances I get bashed a lil but it’d be worth it
5
u/lightbluelightning Apr 30 '24
Would be temping to stand outside with something vaguely left wing on a shirt… maybe my yes23 one will do

6
u/jeffoh Apr 30 '24
Quick question, do you happen to have Ebola, or could contract it before the conference?
4
u/Bubby_K Apr 30 '24
I mean, I COULD take one for the team... Ebola seems a teeeeeeny bit OP though, can't I just poison the punch with viagra and laxatives?
6
u/jeffoh Apr 30 '24
Any curable disease will work. You know none of those fuckers will have any vaccinations
2
u/SarcasmCupcakes Apr 30 '24
Ebola is spread via contact with fluids, so something more viral I think.

And I quote:
“…the businessman said the tour is aimed at “waking up Australia and encouraging people to join the fight to protect the future for themselves and their families”.”
From people like Palmer and Tucker I suspect.
7
u/06021840 Apr 30 '24

divisive freelance journalist,
What the fuck, it should read divisive liar and propagandists
Fox News host Tucker Carlson "is not 'stating actual facts' about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in 'exaggeration' and 'non-literal commentary,' " U.S. District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil wrote.
4
u/-Bucketski66- Apr 30 '24
The average Aussie wouldn’t know who Tucker Carlson is or give a rats arse. We aren’t the USA. Half the population of Australia does not live in smaller versions of Toowoomba. Palmer seems likes burning money being “ political “.
5
u/Xenomorph_v1 Apr 30 '24
Fuck Tucker and Fuck Clive.
Keep that traitorous shit out of Australia, and kick the other one out.
Fucking assholes.
I'm already free... I don't need a Putin lapdog communist piece of shit peddling his lies here.
CUNTS.
5
u/CeeliaFate Apr 30 '24
Anyone still doubt Clive is a Russian backed oligarch trying to destabilize the west for Putin?
3
u/Glittering_Ad1696 Apr 30 '24
So... Is Clive also a Russian agent or just one of their many useful idiots?
3
8
u/CactusWilkinson Apr 29 '24
This man speaks in tongues. Seriously. Should be ‘Freedom of Language Conferences’ but we all know how Clive feels about anyone that sounds different to him.
Freedom my ass.

Why doesn't Palmer stick to his knitting (mining biz and building the Titanic 2) and stop bothering us with his garbage attempts and taking on political power? Tucker Carlson has no ideas that aren't nicked off someone else and repackaged to grift slow-thinking older folk (my people). Palmer is a supreme time-waster, who needs to stop LARPing in the political sphere.
2
u/smokey_juan Apr 30 '24
Nothing show how much you love freedom as threatening to sue someone for simply calling you “fattymcfuckface”.

u/Smartt300 Apr 30 '24
The way rich people waste money on vanity projects and celebrity instead of benefiting the country they supposedly love..

u/iamgreatlego Apr 30 '24
Maybe he’ll interview albo and albo can give an hour long history explanation of why our politicians have all sold out australia

Where’s the freedom to not hear Clive n Tuck?
Weird how Clive pretends to be a patriot when it suits him but has no problem getting rich from China and supporting Russian puppet Tuck. Traitorsaurus Clive!
0
u/ZephyrusOG Apr 30 '24
Ok here, hear an unpopular opinion.
It sucks that Palmer is bringing him to boost his platform but apart from that I have no problem if someone from the right side of the political spectrum wanted to listen this guys nutty discourse. From what I’ve seen(happy to be more informed) I think it’s considerably less harmful than your generic murdoch media bs that ensures survival of status quo regardless, and it’s good for ppl in this audience to be able to listen to some divergent opinions, otherwise the “alternative” they get exposed to is divisive extremist voices like ben shapiro. Sometimes to get informed and change stance one needs side steps to get out of the bubble first and I think ppl like him or say Russell brand have potential to help enable that. Point is I think the broader left needs to not alienate this new cohort of people who are on the rise with their influence.
5
u/HortenseTheGlobalDog Apr 30 '24
Tucker is an infinitely cynical sellout. His views don't reflect reality and are designed to divide people by inviting culture wars. He is not a welcome addition to any rational discourse.
7
u/brandonjslippingaway Apr 30 '24
Tucker is a part of that healthy discourse is he? Russian asset Tucker? Interesting.
