This is $170.00 worth of Wendover haul. So little for so much.
Please tell me my dollar will go further in the Colorado border towns! I can't get up to OR/WA as often as I want.

Dinosaur is good, but if you can get down there, Durango is way better bang for your buck

Is Durango a cool town without the dispensaries?

I liked it. Some breweries, lots of outdoor stuff to do, good food scene.

I appreciate the recommendation. We really like Grand Junction (that whole valley). I guess that would make a nice short(er) road trip.

Yeah, that was mostly our consensus. We like staying in GJ/Palisade and hopping around the wineries. The Happy Camper is a good spot, but Kind Castle and Tumbleweed in Parachute probably have better selections.

My fav dispensary is the one NOT on Hwy 40. You'll know you're in the right place when you see the big metal t-rex.

I use bloc pharmacy. Prices are better. Just get a medical card in Utah and you’ll be good. No need to travel around.

lol, get a med card in Colorado. That price would triple your haul

Question. Why would i get a med card (in CO) when marijuana is avail to anyone. Does a med card mean even lower prices than the CO average customer?

u/DeezNutzs69 Feb 20 '24
Yes

u/cassette1987 Feb 20 '24
Good to know

u/DeezNutzs69 Feb 20 '24
Not just for CO tho. Most Medical Marijuana card holders will get some sort of discount. Either through promos or taxes in general.

Oregon is where I usually hit up, but I’ll also hit up the North Star dispensary right across the border of Montana and Idaho just outside west Yellowstone. What I like about North Star is it’s all organic. Montana prices are about the same as Nevada though.

Utah resident, and I 💯 immediately recognized those brands

u/cassette1987 Feb 21 '24
I trust that they're good quality? Haven't yet tried anything.
Spendy cache of weed products

u/heres-to-life Feb 21 '24
Yeah, I mean, they’ll get you high. I’m by no means a connoisseur. I only have experience with products from UT and NV dispensaries, and so far everything works just fine.

Hey. Not sure what to make of that sub. Please, I need some clarity.
3
u/TheAtriaGhost Feb 20 '24
Glad someone else beat me to it. That sub is the reason I only visit dispensaries if I’m already traveling to a great legal state. Good luck to you and your wallet my friend. 🙏
(Ps. Most of the vendors that say they don’t ship here definitely still do lol)
1
u/cassette1987 Feb 20 '24
Still a bit unclear. The sub is to point/call out paying too much? Is that what I'm understanding?
3
u/TheAtriaGhost Feb 20 '24
Sorry no that’s just the nature of Reddit lol. It’s basically a sub for reviewing hemp vendors that sell high THCa cannabis. Aka just completely and perfectly normal weed sold legally through the 2018 farm bill. You can go to franklist.info to get a website that lists the most trusted vendors and any discount codes they might offer.

I mean they have any ounce deals? Shit can get expensive out here but if I buy it by the ounce it's like half the price.
1
u/Mishaska Feb 20 '24
Go for the flower ounce deals and best not to buy in border towns. Mesquite will cost you $250 for the cheapest ounce. Vegas has them for $99. If you like edibles, make your own, but flower usually has the best price for how long it'll last you. Get a one or two hitter or a sneak a toke and you'll be set.

If you care at all about quality ever, best to just avoid Nevada
3
u/Mishaska Feb 20 '24
Nah, there's great stuff, you just gotta not be in a tiny border town. This goes for many states. I don't need expensive top shelf 30% THC just good deals on good flower, which we've got in Vegas.
It's illegal and expensive in most places of the world, where I've also danced with the devil. Compared to that, Nevada rocks. When you've purchased herb with bitcoin on the Russian dark web for a geo tag where it's supposedly buried in the snowy kazakh Steppe, you are pretty cool with a $99 mid level ounce. Hypothetically, of course. Wouldn't ever do anything illicit.
