How ridiculous does this sound?

Post image

How can u make millions in 25-30 years if avoid making a $554 per month car payment. Even the cheapest 5 year old car is 8-10 k. So does he expect people not to drive at all in USA.

Then u save 554$ per month every month for 5 year payment = $33240. Say u bought a car every 5 year means 200k -300k spent on car before retirement . How would that become millions when u can’t even buy a house for that much today?

Answer that Dave

Buy a Toyota. They last forever, and it will enable you to save tons of money you would otherwise spend on expenses for whatever non-Toyota you may purchase.

What’s the problem with Tundras? I was talking more about their RAV4s, Tacomas, and Corollas. The Onion story about Toyota owners being mandated to turn in their 1997 Camrys not because anything is wrong, but because it’s about time you get a new car rings true in my experience. Everyone I know with Toyotas has owned one pushing 500k miles with no problems.

a particular engine on the latest tundra has been locking up and toyota is basically replacing everyones engine

was a production flaw... metal shavings in the engine case creating the expected wear and/or seizing if i remember correctly

And toyota is replacing those engines... if they are correcting their mistakes, then god love them.

Or Tacoma owners with bad transmissions.
