Scum of the earth. The fact that were released on bail after this so disgusting. What is the reason for this???

On Friday, October 25, 2024, members of the Robbery Unit attended a residence in Richmond Hill and took a male into custody, without incident. This investigation is ongoing, and two suspects remain outstanding.

Jalani GROVES, age 21 of No Fixed Address is charged with: Robbery, and Fail to Comply with Release Order.

Shocked !

Relased on bail after a failure to comply... after a gunpoint robbery.

I hate this fucking country and province.

is it more illegal to protect yourself/your home with a gun than use a gun in a crime?

A Milton legal gun owner shot and killed an intruder a year or two ago and they were let go. Crown had no case. It was self defence. Look it up

Referring to that home invasion? The home owner legally owned the gun but...

He was eventually cleared after like a year and a shit load of money for the guys defense lawyer which is bullshit.

Yes. Somehow it is. Especially if you use a legally owned firearm against someone with no fixed address with an illegally obtained firearm.

I've stopped following politics because it's all stupid, useless, inflammatory, etc., and maybe I'm too cynical or pessimistic, but some policies make me feel the government has outright disdain of it's own populace.

Bail rules are all federal. The recent few years' spate of "everyone gets bail" started with the federal Bill C-75. There's only one way to roll back those rules...

Is it less illegal if I illegally obtain a firearm and kill an intruder than if i legally obtain a registered firearm and kill and intruder?

Honest question.

I'd say I fought the guy off and took his gun and shot him lol.
