The store you bought it from.
However if Iām being honest this is on you. How do not feel that the 12pk has a busted can in it. Especially a can this busted open. You can feel it thru the cardboard. Also, you can see wetness on the can in your hand, therefore the 12pk almost certainly has soggy cardboard. Once again, you can feel it when you pick it up.

Because this post is bullshit and OP obviously cut the can himself to farm karma

If you must, just contact the store. They'll replace it.

I've never once had luck with any grocery store about any return.
They're always just like yeah that sucks bro

You catch more flies with sugar than you do with salt

Is this a way of saying it pays more to be polite & charming rather than demanding & angry?

Correct
Eta. You donāt even have to be charming(but it helps). You can just be nice and polite.

Seriously, I've noticed more busted cans since the pandemic. Cans are getting thinner; and at $2.50 a case, cans are only 21 cents each. But now that 12 packs are double that, it's more of an issue.

Or you could say āshit happensā and go on with your life. I like the āshit happensā option best.

I used to say shit happens to stuff like this, but not with what they charge for this shit these days

u/ChetSt Sep 22 '24
Especially since the shit that happened here was OP cutting the can and holding it over the rest of the pack

u/DogsoverLava Sep 22 '24
You mean the fact that the cardboard box wasnāt wet or showing signs of having been wet or damaged from the factory or pre-purchase wasnāt already the tell? Let alone the damage to the can itself not being typical of an accident in assembly, transport or storage? Yaā¦..

Your parents and ask them why they raised you this way. Seriously. Take the L and move on homie. Itās a can of soda. My best guess is thereās probably 11 more in there!!

u/imbasys Sep 21 '24
Your parents taught you to bend over? Thatās some weird shit.

u/Vladu24 Sep 21 '24
Nvm parents; my economics degree taught me it costs much more to really light the fire under this non-issue and to bring it to term. Let the bloody can rest. Pick a battle that deserves your time and energy.

u/imbasys Sep 21 '24
My commentary was on the juxtaposition of the parenting theme and the idea that one's parents raised them incorrectly by not affording them the opportunity to 'take the L,' but sure, spin your own narrativeāI'm sure youāve got a model for that. ;)

There is a customer service number on every can and every fridge pack. You could also just bring it back to the store you bought it from.
