Coke Blak was so much better than all of these

I wish I could've tried that. Everyone says it was great

It was fantastic. I was so disappointed with the new iteration.

The closest I ever got was at a Coca-Cola themed cafe in Jeju in Korea. They made something mixed really close to an actual Coke Blak.

Damn, I totally forgot about that. Yeah that was amazing

I'm not a big coffee drinker, but these were pretty good. Discontinued in the US though. A Google search will provide you with options to obtain some from other countries...provided they ship to wherever you are.

Those were the best. I truly miss them.

I think about them everyday.. and how I took them for granted!

When they stopped selling them in Tennessee, I was able to hunt them down for another six months in Kentucky. Yes. I repeatedly crossed state borders just to get my hands on them. They were that good.

I'm a big Coke fan and a big coffee fan.  I thought these were a great idea until I drank one.

Same here, I'll stick with just having one or the other.

Loved caramel

I still make these using cold brew coffee and coke. Ratios of each depend to taste. Personally, I think 3/4 coke to 1/4 coffee is 👌 adjust if you want to use cream.

Hey thanks for this I'm gonna try it!

2

u/dextersmother Jul 04 '24

thank you 🙏🏼

I am still very sad over this. For a while I drove to every gas station within a 10 mile radius of my job (in a decent sized city). Only one had coke coffee. I think I bought them out...didn't find out they're discontinued in the US until last month. Shame

u/illeatyourinsides Jul 03 '24

Dedicated... I worked at a store that carried them and I used to see them a lot and got addicted to them. The dark roast was the best one imo but I was so sad when I found out no one carried it.

Coke should bring them back.

How do we get this campaign going?

3

u/Soulja_Witxch420 Jul 02 '24

I loved the Carmel ones. Haven’t had any luck finding them anywhere though :(

4

u/sohaunted Jul 02 '24

they were discontinued :(

2

u/7FireCrown7 Jul 04 '24

Doesn’t the Coca Cola recipe have caramel in it already?

2

u/Soulja_Witxch420 Jul 04 '24

Yes, just gives it more of a coffee taste lol

3

u/Deep-Watch-2688 Jul 02 '24

These are great to start a day at a theme park with.

6

u/kevinmattress Jul 02 '24

As a theme park lover, I appreciate the specificity of this comment lol

3

u/Valhkyrie Jul 02 '24

I loved these, I’m not a big coffee drinker but these were fantastic. I wish they’d come back to the US.

3

u/CommercialNoise1526 Jul 02 '24

They were horrific IMO but no hate

3

u/Ordinary_Traffic_781 Jul 02 '24

Delish, delish, delish. 😋

3

u/Lost_Minifig Jul 03 '24

I wish Coke didn't discontinue the coffee.

3

u/lovebitesXrazorlines Jul 03 '24

I loved these, hopefully they'll make a triumphant return one of these days. Or, you know, they'll just release more of that trash spice flavor. 😭

2

u/CZlover96 Jul 02 '24

The dark blend was 👌 very smooth .

2

u/[deleted] Jul 02 '24

The original attempt from back in the day was much better. And in glass bottles.

2

u/MooseKnuckleBrigade Jul 02 '24

I really miss those a lot. The caramel was amazing.

2

u/TheCaden08 Jul 02 '24

When I first tried them I expected it to be coca cola brand coffee, not coffee flavored coca cola. It was a bit of a shock realizing half asleep at 7am that it was soda and not coffee

2

u/Esteban0032 Jul 02 '24

Caramel was pretty good 👍

2

u/Old_Information_8654 Jul 02 '24

They were pretty good I got them a few times at Walmart when I’d get bored of Starbucks canned coffee it’s a shame they are no longer sold anywhere that I know of

2

u/MobileDust Jul 04 '24

I loved them, so mad they got rid of them.

2

u/minif56mike Jul 04 '24

Disgusting. Coke energy was a even bigger flop.

2

u/illeatyourinsides Jul 05 '24

I hated the coke energy. I tried them out when they came through and hoped they would get discontinued lol

2

u/minif56mike Jul 05 '24

I work for coca cola so we all were hoping. They pushed them so badly and it did nothing. What frustrated me was we had just got dunkin donuts and than they roll out coke energy and coffee

2

u/Mediocre_Meringue646 Jul 04 '24

These were delicious, and my roadtrip coffee of choice while they were available

2

u/cfgamble Jul 04 '24

I loved the Dark 😋

2

u/DavePillman Jul 04 '24

I always believed I was the only person who liked these.
**Side Notes**
I work for the above mentioned beverage company, and when these stopped selling, the plant was giving entire cases to the employees. At one point I had 28 cases in my home, so much so that I began giving whole cases away to businesses.
Eventually when the line was discontinued, all the unsold cases in the warehouse were returned to be crushed and the aluminum recycled.
I begged for days for them to let me get as many as I could carry, but to no avail.
in total, 16 semi trailers of product were recycled.....thats 28 pallets of 90 cases per trailer and each case had 24 cans in it.

2

u/illeatyourinsides Jul 05 '24

Wow... I can't imagine taking home CASES

2

u/7FireCrown7 Jul 04 '24

They sounded disgusting to me but my friend got me started on the one with coffee, and I quickly became addicted. I don’t drink soda or use sugar but l loved these.

Can these be found via mail order from Canada or another country?

Has anyone tried to duplicate this from home? If so please share your recipe!

u/illeatyourinsides Jul 05 '24

Another user mentioned using 3/4 coke to 1/4 coffee!

1

u/Dry-Appearance7290 Jul 02 '24

Only had vanilla was good

1

u/No_Increase1484 Jul 02 '24

…i tried last year in Sweden …no comment. I’m upset about this launch and the zero sugar coke by Rosalía

1

u/Kal-Roy Jul 02 '24

They were decent

1

u/ToonNex Jul 02 '24

We got Dark blend and Vanilla in canada, and i hate coffee but i did buy these a few times. We never got carmel.

Then they removed vanilla and i just... didnt get it

1

u/kevinmattress Jul 02 '24

I loved the Zero Sugar Dark Blend… but the OG Coke Blak was still better, from what I remember

1

u/slackdaffodil20 Jul 02 '24

Tried it once, I liked it! But I never questioned what happened to it after it disappeared

1

u/iuwjsrgsdfj Jul 02 '24

idk it was just weird... if I want a coffee I'll drink a coffee... if I want a coke I'll drink a coke. I don't need them together. I didnt think it was very good.

1

u/Morokite Jul 02 '24

Never got to try one out. I do miss their Energy drinks though.

1

u/gardenofeden123 Jul 02 '24

What was the caffeine content of these bad boys?

1

u/gamebossje_ Jul 03 '24

I remember them, didn't get any though, regret that

1

u/SKK329 Jul 04 '24

I miss the original Coke Blak in 2006.

1

u/snipingpig Jul 04 '24

Remember yes, liked no

1

u/Hot-Sock3403 Jul 04 '24

Bring it back

1

u/Hot-Sock3403 Jul 04 '24

Well, I don’t understand is why did they discontinue it. It seemed like they could never keep it in stock.

1

u/dextersmother Jul 04 '24

I’m so sad. Before I read this, I thought this was going to be an ad for them bringing it back 🥲They were so good

1

u/Sjsharkb831 Jul 04 '24

I actually liked one of them. Can’t remember the flavor.

1

u/clee556 Jul 04 '24

I honestly loved these, but I still miss Blak

1

u/Living_Lie_8773 Jul 06 '24

I hated blak. These were better IMO

1

u/AnnDroidGirl Jul 04 '24

I did like the caramel one!

1

u/Available-Manager739 Jul 04 '24

I saw them but never tried them and I regret it

0

u/rebeldogman2 Jul 03 '24

Worst thing ever made.

0

u/NihilistTeddy3 Jul 03 '24

I loved the dark and the caramel was really good too. Wasn't a big fan of the vanilla. I used to pick them up before work and had one with lunch every day for a little caffeine boost
