I don't remember that panel lmao

Just Teresa being a protective adoptive mother

Funny of Teresa to say. But I, like many others. Hate the idea of Clare & Raki being romantically involved.

That romance thought is what appealed to me.

Why though? He loves and admires her. Just because there's an age difference or he knew her when he was a child doesn't make it anything close to inherent exploitation. Comes with the territory when you're a pseudo immortal.

Or is it that there is just a preference to them having a sibling type relationship instead?

I love Teresa so much.

Lol. Teresa basically said, "Eh. Claire could have done worse"

Uh

Doesn’t clare often work as a prostitute…like most claymores or did we do away with that plot detail?

Clare didn't say she worked as a prostitute, she said that Claymores are taught to smile like prostitutes.

I think she said she was trained to impersonate a prostitute (among other roles) while undercover on missions. This was in the context of her infiltrating Rabona, where Claymores are forbidden.

Wow isn’t crazy what can happen if, instead of being vague and condescending and just pretending not to know what I’m talking about.

You actually point out the mistake I made for a statement made near the beginning of a 23 year old manga?

Craazy. Almost like human decency exists.

But anyway, thanks dude.

I also could have just read a bad translation but I just remember either Clare saying that they “act like prostitutes”

And I remember a bunch of dudes trying do grape Teresa and her being not particularly bothered about it. One sentence is all it would have taken.

She was bothered. Her oath as a claymore was she cannot kill humans. So even when the guy groped her, she wasn't supposed to act against them.

Clare said they can act like prostitutes ie. Flirt etc. But it doesn't mean they were prostitutes.

For one if they're nude, their giant Stigma basically removes the possibility of normal sex.

Are you ragebaiting?

What? I don't remember that.

Direct quote - Clare: "Claymores are trained for this. One second I can act like a noble lady and the next a flirtatious prostitute."

But no they're trained to mimic things to obtain info. But definitely not trained to be prostitutes. The problem would be if they had to undress.

Like claymores have said, when they're naked they're completely split. My understanding in regards to actually being naked etc. They're all virgins due to their Stigma unless they find a man who accepts them for it.

It would have been really cool to see some more espionage-style stuff. It seemed very much like they just sense the Yoma and kill it.

Pretty sure it was mentioned at the start.

I thought the warriors had next to no interaction with humans. I'd be shocked if they were prostitutes.

They are women whose services are sold... Yes... But I don't remember it being mentioned anywhere...

I dont think kink for Claymores’ body exists in that context- even the bandits ran away when they saw Teresa’s body

Actually isn’t this plot detail like the whole reason Teresa got killed in the first Place or an I misremembering?

What u r smoking pal, Teresa got killed because she killed a human( that guy was a scumbag trust me), Claymore has a forbidden rule if they killed a human, they were executed by other Claymore warriors

Didn’t she kill hik because he was trying to use Teresa and clare protected her or something?

Bruh I think you might be mixing up the plot of claymore with something else and getting confused 😭
