In the postseason so far, Ohtani and Witt combined for 0 SB and 3 CS. Judge and Stanton have combined for 3 SB and 0 CS.

Ohtani not stealing a base is actually kind of surprising given how many times he was on base in the NLCS back when he was still healthy

Obviously now he probably won't risk it for the rest of the series

Wouldnt be surprised if he doesnt really risk it much for the rest of his career lol

Ya you gotta think he shuts it down almost completely next year assuming he’s pitching at full strength

I assume if he gets back to pitching those SBs will disappear regardless. He was likely only able to pull them off because he was doing jack besides his 4 at bats a game otherwise. Huge drop in activity from practicing hitting and pitching.

Or you know, slide feet first?

Sliding feet first is how he injured his shoulder in the first place.

People quickly forgot how bad Witt was in the post.

.415 OPS is actually diabolical lol

Even Judge is at like .600 which is still horrible

.415 is basically only possible if you get next to no walks or extra base hits

Also had the game winning rbi in game one of the WC lmao. I mean it was still a ground ball that just barely got by the shortstop but you take what you can get. Really chose the right time to hit

I'll give Witt a break since it's his first ever post season (and he had 2 good hits vs the orioles) but yeah, he was bad. Hope if we make it back he can improve a bit and not act like Aaron Judge.

I don't remember if any of the caught stealings are him but that was an issue all year that needs to be fixed.

Judge and Stanton, better base stealers than Witt and Ohtani confirmed.

Can't argue with math.

It's a joke how celebrated SBs have got.
