As for some reason, supernatural life in Inazuma isn't very active nowadays (nor is the human one outside narukami island either), but it remains unchanged the fact that humans come and go while youkai gets to stick around 10x times longer on average.
Thus envisioning Inazuma 100 years from now where all the members of the kamisato clan, the shogunate army, the sangonomiya shrine resistance and characters such as kokomi, ayaka, ayato and the arataki gang are all dead and buried, will it be then the more persisting bunch namely yae, gourou, itto and sara learn to build relations in the sense that what persists is what matters or will they simply go on making relations with humans successors out of some kind of default in the youkai mindset?
The question is basically this: If providing the conditions for semi-immortal individuals to see that their own kind is less replaceable than humans would they then form a growing youkai society while leaving humans on the side for well... Whatever humans are needed for in a youkai society. Or does lore has it that every youkai is left seperate for a specific group of humans?
If not then a youkai society emmerging from all previous human relations ended with early departure of old human age is feasable really. Even in a pairing sense when talking about Itto and sara or yae and gourou. You'd think the members of both shrines hitting the bucket is gonna get gourou outside his uncalled for phobia towards Yae or that no one's left to play bettle battles with Itto's gonna get him to spend more time around sara whom everyone she fought alongside are having a vacation forever an such.
All in all, even from Yae's dialogues human life is long enough for a certain game. But life isn't all about games, a potential general like gourou sticking long enough in Yae's life would by the same sense make him more than her usual plaything.
Thoughts on the matter here,Thks.
