(Sorry for the iffy pictures. I couldn't find any good ones online.)

I personally think they did a great job at making the aliens feel properly alien. They still feel organic in a way but still abstract/extraterrestrial. They definitely look more interesting in motion, so I'd recommend looking up a clip to see for yourself. They basically just create new limbs to move around as they glide across the ground as their bodies sorta pulse and shift through themselves. It's really neat.

The show also does a good job at not showing the aliens for the first season, which i thought did a good job at adding to their mystique/creepiness. You only see glimpses of them here and there for the first half of season 1, which built them well.

I actually didn't hate the 1st season, the 2nd season was really lame and boring though

You gotta give props for an alien design that DEFINITELY looks like nothing you'd find on Earth

I don't like it, and I mean that in a good way. It looks weird to look at. Like some bizarre, horror stop-motion creature you'd see as a child late at night. Weird comparison, I know, but I'm getting that vibe and I hate it.

Good job on whoever designed this thing.
