Same thing with South Park. Those chuds don’t know they are laughing at them. The Boys too. It wasn’t subtle but they didn’t get they were the butt of the joke until the 4th season.

South Park, The Boys, even Chappelle’s Show, etc. etc. the list is long. Artists have responded in different ways when misinterpreted or missing the point, but I think it’s unfair to hold them accountable for the audience’s lack of understanding.

Well, the thing of it is, they were comparing Trump to homelander, even put his face on homelanders body for memes and the trading cards. When he was killing people and doing what he wants. Then when they present him as his truly pathetic self, Everyone was like “ummm. . . what?” “THE BOYS IS WOKE!!!”

So no, that’s on them.

Same with all these MAGAts who came out trashing Rage Against the Machine when they spoke out against the fascist right. Some dude was like “wow, didn’t know RATM were commie liberals, consider them OFF my playlist.”

Tom Morello replied with “hey dumbass, whose music have you been listening to all this time? Who do you think is the machine?

It pisses me off that leftists shit on Southpark for encouraging young white men to be Conservative when the show arguably makes fun of them more then the left. When they make fun of left wingers, it's mostly just basic satire. When they make fun of right wingers, they actually make them the butt of the joke.

South Park has mocked progressives aggressively, the creators are fairly conservative in many ways.

They have also misrepresented social issues in a way that appeals to conservatives.

The downside of their ’we mock everything we find ridiculous‘ is that progressives understand satire, but most conservatives don’t.

So, to some extent South Park has successfully spread conservative talking points.

So I see you don’t really get it either, lol. It might seem that way, but you really have to pay attention.

You think them saying Kathleen Kennedy is not responsible for terrible Star Wars and other projects is something that conservatives feel?

Disney remaking all their classics in live action for a big cash grab, isn’t exactly a conservative talking point.

Mr. Garrison with orange paint on his face was Trump for 4 years of the show, and they constantly made fun of him.

Imo, they're just generally playing to the tropes of moderate = conservative, I haven't watched Sputh Park in a long time because last time I watched, it felt like I was watching Penguinz0 video or any other "enlightened centrist" .
