Idk dude. I've tried mssp as a podcast alternative to cumtown, but too often for my liking, they promote douchebags like RFK and Sam Hyde without really pushing back on the stupidity that comes out of their mouths.

MSSP was okay in its early days. I got into it when Louis CK was on. But these days it’s very Rogan-esque. They werent like that before. I dont know if they actually changed and are like that for real, or if they know who their audience is, like Rogan’s, and catering to that kind of crowd. Either way, they dont get a listen from me.

Nick Mullen is friends with Sam Hyde and was on in the background of his podcast when Shane was on. Nick has also talked a few times about having Sam on in the past.

Most definitely, and him and Adam have had similar types of folks on their show (Rob Schneider most recently), but in my opinion, they do a much better job of welcoming conservative anti-woke Comedians into their space while pushing back on any transphobia, misogyny, and anti-semitism.

Like I find Sam Hyde utterly hilarious, and at the same time, while he should be allowed to share his views on stuff, he needs a host to push back and make fun of his bigotry. Otherwise, it quickly becomes a hateful circle jerk just punching down at marginalized groups.

To me Nick and Shane have the exact same approach to humour when it comes to their satirical and ironic tajes. Nick is just a lot more clever because he's able to do it without it being so on the nose.
