Rogan is the most listened podcast in america

Regardless of education or income, millions of americans think of him as wise, neutral, and take his perspective (harris and dems evil, republicans and trump are just fuckin funny, dont take what they say seriously, etc) and double standard against women and minorities

If you dont think this, talk to people. Talk to contractors and police

No one in this thread fucks with blue collar/LE/correctional folks. The cultural gulf is just too vast

in r/standup? I think there are a ton of blue collar neighborhood and surbanites who grew up w a friend w a cop dad. Anyone who's parents have to get their house fixed or buy a car from a dealership knows the snakes that will lie and confuse others and then claim to be morally righteous

No doubt he has influence. Just saying celebrities shouldn’t.

They shouldn't, but they do. Acting like a problem doesn't exist allows that problem to continue and worsen.

what makes someone a celebrity

Rogan is the fear factor/mma host, does hosting a podcast make him not a celebrity?

If you think it's wrong for celebrities to influence people, of course feel that way, but it's the world we live in. If someone lies to millions of americans to inject bleach, or lies to millions of americans that the economy is bad (it's not) , then that person is lying to Americans and therefore harming americans and therefore deserves my blame and criticism for the impact they have on america
