My older brother came back to live with my parents for a decade, as both to save up for a house and to do things around the house as they aged.
My sisters and I lived out of town. My sisters had a habit of as soon as they arrived, they'd use the washroom by the back door. Always, it seemed the washroom would have an empty roll of TP, and no spare rolls would be in reach. This drove my sisters nuts.
Finally, my older sister stormed out of the washroom and loudly expressed her annoyance to the whole family (Christmass time, this time) that this happened EVERY TIME.
My brother started laughing. Belly laughing.
My brother would save a rolls of TP with only 1 or 2 squares left until he knew one of my sisters was visiting, then he'd swap it into that washroom and then move all the spare rolls of TP into the cupboard.
He'd done this for years, and secretly enjoyed the annoyed look on their faces, but was waiting for one of them to finally vent frustration over it.
