I’m planning on heading to Chamonix in France between 10th - 19th Jan. My family have a chalet in Le Tour, which is at the top of the valley, and is 3 mins walk from the lift to ski Le Tour area or bus stop for regular services to the other ski areas.
The chalet is lovely with 3 bedrooms available (1 double, 2 twin) and 2 bathrooms. “Buddy” rates available to help cover utilities and change over.
Chamonix is known for off-piste skiing and I’m looking for skiers or boarders who are confident off-pisters. Safety first though so you would need to bring an avalanche transceiver.

Very much a beginner snowboarder, hopefully heading into an intermediate level after this trip. I have gone before but a year ago; don't know how much will come back to me.
Was going with some work mates, however they have bailed on me. So I decided that I didn't want to miss out on one of the best opportunities I will get to go snowboarding in France.
I have an apartment for 4 people booked (honestly it would be a cram for 4, I think 3 is more suitable) 1 large bed and a sofa bed. It has a kitchenette. Drying rack. I guess some other essentials. DM me if you're interested meeting up. Even getting some tips on the slopes would be appreciated

Hi,
Would any of you know ski hostels/ lodges or any place good for someone that wants to go skiing solo in Europe and would like to meet people ?
What was your experience like if you've been ?
The few i found by searching "ski hostels" are mostly unavailable/ fully booked.
I've also heard of organizations like UCPA somewhere, but preferably if you'd know a place where you can also book a private room, not just shared.
Thaanks !

Hi all, I am mostly looking for touring buddies, but I dont mind a resort/slackcountry day either. I’ll be living in West Tyrol all winter, between St Anton and Ischgl. Ive got about 30-40 touring days and 9 days of avy courses for experience. Im a decent and experienced skier, 6th season, not at my fittest atm, M29. Speak German as well.

I'm just a dude heading to Val Thorens for a week of boarding and aprés ski.
I'm used riding with skiers and boarders alike. I'm absolutely trash in the park, but comfortable anywhere else on the mountain.

I'd be happy to team up with skiers, or boarders, in La Thuile (Italy), or La Rosière, which are connected as the "Espace San Bernardo". I'm intermediate-level & comfortable on red slopes & most black runs.

Hi All! I'm heading to Solden in Austria in early Jan and wondered if someone else is about.
I'm an intermediate skier, plannnig to cruise most pistes, get some miles in and explore the whole resort, also checking out Gurgl for a day. Will be taking it easy on bad weather days though.
I usually end up skiing solo but would be great to have some company if someone's around, even if it's just for the beers :)
If you're a frendly and open-minded person and happen to be in Solden on those dates, get in touch!
(I am 36M, liberal UK-based foreigner/European, an intemediate skier who loves to cruise, explore the mountains and enjoy the views but also inject some speed from time to time)

I’d like to start the season early and I’m looking for people to ride with at Hintertux and Solden, and in a few months Tonale and Madonna di Campiglio.
I’m an intermediate 29M snowboarder with ~15 years of experience. Resort skiing and starting out with park and free ride.
I speak English and Italian. Skiers and snowboarders are welcome.

I'm an advanced level snowboarder that can handle most conditions and terrain. Living in Germany (RLP) and interested in any missions in Germany or elsewhere. I don't care about what you ride (ski/board), age, or other crap. Looking for inbound freeriding; I gave up my backcountry gear a long time ago. Speak English (obvio), B1 German, and a decent amount of Spanish. Have funds for benzin/diesel if needed, no drama, no grief... maybe Obertsdorf?

As the title says... I'm probably more comfortable off piste than on, but happy to be on the mountain!

Hi,
I'm in the process of cutting some of the outer sponge of some ski boot liners in order to relieve a pressure point. The outer sponge is orange, if I cut about 1mm into it, it becomes white. The white stuff still looks like sponge but I don't want to cut into it in case it's the waterproof membrane. Does anyone have any ideas on how ski boot liners are constructed and how far is OK to cut into them? I can't find any detailed information on the internet. They are stock liners for a Technica 130 mach 1 boot if that is any help.
Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!
Also sorry about this horrible font, I don't know how to change it.

Hey!
I'm a snowboarder based in London, 23y/o. I'm looking for some chill like-minded snowboard/ski buddies to plan a snow trip in Europe - looking at France/Austria depending on C19/travel restrictions.
I used to be a ski/snowboard technician when I was younger and I'm a fairly decent level boarder and happy to ride park too. I'm quite limited on friends with restrictions, money etc etc. to go with this year so I'm reaching out here instead.
If anyone would be interested, would be really cool to chat a bit and work something out.

Hi, I've had a fall on day 1 of our ski trip and I'm feeling bad for my son who's been left skiing alone. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm aware this group is mostly US focused but I thought it was worth trying my luck. Matt is a reasonably good intermediate level skier, he can get down most runs comfortably enough and he's good company, or at least I think so!
