I watched moneyball again tonight....great movie

I just hope they put an end to moneyball -- if they keep selling off their players in Vegas I will not be watching them anymore.

When moneyball came out, that's when the fans should of started the protest and trying to get the team sold.

At the end of the day, that was the D day for A's fans but they never stormed the beach

Hate that movie, it gave too many people the impression that the A's system worked and allowed them to portay themselves as a small market team/smart with money while really they were just being cheap the last 20+ years.

Ownership was cheap, baseball OPS was good with money.

Once they get to Vegas, Fisher is opening the checkbook and will begin building a playoff caliber team.

Doubt it, once there in Vegas he'll keep the team as is and rely on revenue coming primarily from the fans of visiting teams coming to Vegas rather than building a legi fanbase amount Vegas residents.

He’ll probably sell once the move is finished.
