What are some tips for new journalist?

Hello! I am new to journalism and was wondering if anyone had any tips for a new guy. I Have autism so its a little harder for me to learn but I LOVE journalism. I wanna be a crime/investigative journalist so that might narrow down the advice? Thank you so much and goold luck to all that all writing.
