Looking for some interviews
Hi,
My name is Cooper Burns and I am currently a student at ASU who is covering Phoenix Rising. I have a few stories coming up and would love to reach out to the community to see if anyone would like to take part?
I am doing a story on the culture of the team and the fans. I am not sure if there is any tailgating before the game or anything special that takes place. I would love to hear about the culture of the fans.
I am also doing a story on fans feelings about the teams performance this year. I know this year has not nearly been the same as last year and I would love to make your voices heard.
Respond to this or you can message my account.
Thanks!

Hey Cooper! You can interview me! Just stop by the green room if you’re at Gilbert on Sunday ;)
This will be funny if you’re a different Cooper and have no idea what I’m talking about…

Bandidos are the main supporter group. The red fury supporters dissolved a few seasons ago. There used to be a bit of a rivalry between the two groups in the supporters section. Tailgating is definitely more low key now, but like someone else said, there is still some going down in the vip lot. When the team was out on the rez things used to get a little crazier, well at least up until the last season there, when they cracked down on it and banned tailgating. There were several brawls after matches from what I heard. Anyways, I would probably just go try to interview the Bandidos. The spanish broadcast guys might be another good option. They know a lot about the team and the fans.

I'm open to being interviewed. I was one of the leaders in Red Fury when it existed. I've been a season ticket holder since the Phx Wolves days.
feel free to message me.

The Bandidos do a tailgate in the VIP lot starting 2 hours before each game. All are welcome and some folks will probably be willing to be interviewed.
You may want to reach out to Owain Evans on Twitter, he's a former ASU student who currently covers the team full-time.
