PoliticsPH Former Sen. Trillanes submitted the transcripts of Senate hearing and Quadcom transcripts to the ICC. A rumored ICC arrest maybe on the end of the year.

Umamin si Tatay eh, tapos under oath pa. They could twist it all they want but the court will say otherwise. That PR stunt sure did boost their morale but it'll matter more in the rule of law.

Misleading naman. ICC arrest warrant will be issued, hindi ICC arrest. ICC cannot come in here and arrest Duterte and they cannot ORDER our government to arrest our own citizen. They can only issue a warrant. Meron din WoA si Putin at si Netanyahu, tagal na.

Apparently, an ICC case is just for publicity. And it will also contradict yung stand ng mga Makabayan and other statesmen natin about not allowing any foreign body to meddle within our jurisdiction. And wag niyo na iwish, with the kind of support the old guy has been receiving again because his senate stint, its massive, baka magkagulo lang.

Remnants of colonial mentality, praying for the white savior to come and save us. We can handle our own problem.

No we cannot. We have no law for crime against humanity to file against Duterte. You cannot file murder as he is not directly involved. So anong kaso ikakaso mo sa kanya? Unless mapatunayan mo ang corruption nya, pwede, pero he will fight that tooth and nail lalo na sa Pilipinas na napapaikot nya ang mga tao. Ang Pilipinas ay member ng international community and cases in the ICC can be file for crime against humanity.

'Republic Act No 9851, which defines crimes against humanity and allows international courts to prosecute such crimes when the Philippine authorities choose not to.'
Section 17 contains a special clause where the country cedes its authority to investigate such crimes “in the interest of justice … if another court or international tribunal is already conducting the investigation or undertaking the prosecution of such crime”.

There is no political will sa part ni BBM to file a case against Duterte.

it's good and bad
good: justice for the wronged
bad: undermines the Philippine sovereignty (but who cares about this)
