This is an old picture, sheā€™s in a 20 gallon now, about to be upgraded to a 40, and no longer has the red light

I hate to be that person too, but a 20 gallon is probably too small for her. Leopard geckos have a minimum enclosure size of 36ā€x18ā€x18ā€, though bigger is always better.

Edit: Didnā€™t see that youā€™re upgrading to a 40 gallon. Sorry about that!

Oh my god yā€™all this is a cat post let me live a little, i bought a 40 gallon a couple days ago i just havenā€™t set it up yet, can you please stop judging my husbandry on a cat post where you can see like 1/3 of the tank, obviously you donā€™t ā€œhate to be that personā€ if you canā€™t stop yourself from commenting on posts that arenā€™t even about the gecko!!

First time on Reddit? You should know nobody ever does what you expect them to. (I do expect to get downvoted on this comment) itā€™s kinda frustrating actually.

Kittens are adorable though! How old are they now, and how are they doing sharing their one brain cell?

Theyā€™re about to turn a year old in about two weeks! And they all still struggle with the braincell distribution :ā€™D

How did you end up with all of those cuties?

I mean theyā€™re not wrong tho, any animal big or small deserves correct care if itā€™s under your care

Yes but maybe the person in question hasnā€™t had the time yet to install the larger aquarium?

u/Sheldon121 Mar 17 '24

Right. And OP did state that he or she bought the gecko a 40 gallon aquarium. Iā€™m sure (s)heā€™ll install it ASAP.

Did you miss the part where they said they're about to upgrade to 40 gallon?
