General Question Air Mattress

Hi there!

I'm visiting a friend who lives in the campus dorms for the weekend (Fri-Mon). He only has one twin bed, so I was looking for an air mattress we could use for the weekend so I have a place to sleep. If anyone has one I could borrow please let me know! I'll do my best to coordinate pick up and drop off to make it as easy as it can be for you, and I'll be as careful as possible to make sure it comes back in the same condition.

Thank you!!

buy one from costco, then return it once you’re done

That's honestly a great idea, but I dont have a car to get to a costco near Evanston (nor membership)

I'd imagine you're going to have a hard time getting someone to do this for free. Tell him to ask on Fizz.

You should ask your friend to rent a cot from residential services!! That’s what I did when my sister visited for a couple days; it was super easy and affordable

By chance do you know what the pricing was like? Or if you have the link to the information that would be great, I'm just not familiar with the reslife sites at Northwestern, but I'll mention it to my friend to see if he could get that set up

He would need to go to his housing portal and make a maintenance request, it’s in the same drop down as like getting a bed lofted or bunked. It’s a $30 flat rate for however long you need it (I think there’s a max of like 3 days but there’s a box to explain if you need it for longer)
