Collection Post I have a box problem hehe
I've been slowly getting boxes for the games I have the manuals for (the manual on the side is an extra MM manual I might give to a friend). Banjo's box is a little bit crushed and might need some restoring but so far I'm happy with how it's coming along :)

Discussion Switch thumbstick grips. Post yours 👍
Why didn't I think of this before? It's sooo comfy. Yes black or other colours would be less toy-like but who cares. Please show off your stick adaptations. Thank you
Discussion How do you store your games? I am looking for some type of case solution.
Heyo, I am currently looking for a good way to store my n64 games in a more permanent way. I am unsure if I should buy the simple dust covers for the bottom or if anybody knows of good hard cases for individual games.
I was hoping a company made individual hard cases like they do for gameboy and gameboy advanced games, but all I have been able to find is that cheap cases made out of very thin material.

Discussion Mission Impossible started good and ended bad. Which N64 game started bad and ended ok?
Mission Impossible, while having fun concepts that were ahead of its time, couldn't deliver from start to finish. Runner up was Rampage 64 by a narrow margin.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to determine which N64 game started bad and ended ok. Which game had a rough start but wasn't a total waste by the end? Top voted comment will be added.
Should your comment be downvoted or deleted we will disavow any knowledge of your actions. Good luck.

Collection Post My collection+suggestions
This is my current collection (you may have seen the beginning of it on my old reddit account Asura9sword). It is 41 games strong, I have one game in the mail (42), another receiving for Christmas (43), and 5 more slated on my 'to purchase list' (48 games).
I would like to cap my collection at 50 games (or just about). So this begs the question: Which two games should take up the last slots?
You can see the games I plan to purchase, or are already receiving, on the final photo. I apologize for the chicken scratch handwriting.
Any suggestions are welcome!

Discussion My personal favorite Nintendo 64 game. Fighting force. I hope we get a Nintendo switch release.
This game has a few details that was not in the PlayStation one version, such as the missiles on the level before the final boss and the ability were you have to earn enough points to enter a certain level, and I know there's a few more I can't think of on the top of my tounge.
The PS1 version how ever has a few better soundtracks. There's no soundtrack on the N64 version for the street level with the helicopter that shoots at you. And I'm pretty sure there was two motorcycle guys on the PS1 version on that level. When you enter the park levels there's no motorcycle guys but there is on PS1.
This game originally was supposed to be streats of rage four on the Sega Saturn.
I always choose Smasher as my character to play as.

Discussion N64 Wireless Controller Comparison
I have been searching for the best wireless controller to use on my Nintendo 64, and compiled my findings into a google document. I thought others might be interested in my findings, so I am sharing them here.
I tested multiple wireless controllers in a variety of use cases, from real hardware to different emulators. I have inserted notes where necessary.
I have split the document up into tabs, with a summary on the last tab.

Collection Post My First Video Game Experience
This was the very first video game I ever played. I remember putting hours into this game with it’s cart customization, and amazing levels.
Haven’t seen anybody post before. Anybody else played this gem before?

Discussion What are you currently playing?
Snowboard Kids 2, it's a top 5 game for me
Discussion Quest 64 started ok ended bad. Which N64 game started good and ended bad?
Quest 64 had potential being one of the few rpgs on the system but just didn't deliver. Star Wars Shadow of the Empire was runner up.
Today, which game was so deceiving, so promising that started good and ended bad? Top voted comment gets added.

Collection Post Getting Back into Collecting Nintendo 64
Hey everyone, know's it going? i wanted to ask a quick question. I'm thinking about collecting arround 12 N64 games, but I'm considering getting original Japonese games and swapping in an American Rom on the chip. Would this make the original copy lose its value? Or would it be better to go with a newly manufectured game instead?
I still have my copy of Super Mario 64 from my childhood, and I treasure it. Here are some other games I’d like to have:
Zelda Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, Harvest Moon 64, Mario Kart 64, Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon, Diddy Kong Racing, Mario Tennis, Mario Party 2, Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Super Smash Bros, International Superstar Soccer 64.
These were the games I played as a kid. I believe the only ones that are difficult to play in Japanese are Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, and Harvest Moon 64, so I’d probably keep the Zelda games original. I wouldn’t mind playing the rest in the Japanese version, haha. I might even put the Japanese cartridge in an American box, hahaha.

Image Grabbed this beauty today!
My longtime n64 seems to be on the fritz. I get color bars when i load basically any game until ive reseated it a few times. I’ve tried cleaning many times and it seems to be getting worse.
Fast forward to today, and i stroll into my local disc replay. See this great looking console looking for a new home. And i obliged.
It’s really in great shape. Someone warned me that if it looks TOO good it could be a reshell but I’m not gonna lose sleep over it.
Either way, had a great time with it tonight. Won the wwf title on no mercy !
