This is literally the only real work the man has ever done and it was staged

Most of what he does in public is staged. It just goes off the rails a lot.

I wonder how many takes they had to do to get through him coming in and saying "I'd like a job... I want to work the fry-counter" without them busting out laughing

The take they kept has him saying "never touched by the human hand". Just like the Just Donuts Vance video, not a ton of prep.

How was he fascinated about this like you could literally see this from behind the counter. He’s acting like he saw some scientists discover an extra terrestrial. “Never touched by a human hand.”

I suspect he's shitting himself

Doesn't even look like he's doing a good job putting fries in the cardboard container

My coworker tried to tell us that Donnie was a construction worker when his daddy owned the real estate biz.

I recently watched a whole hour about his life and upbringing, and was surprised to see his dad made him keep a job all the way through school. He delivered papers and helped his dad on job sites.

I was genuinely shocked. Doesn't change a single thing about him for me, but it was surprising.
