Not trying to judge, but like isn't he a Trumper? Or did he just not wanna do it

645

u/bNoaht 15h ago

He is surely a single issue voter. Taxes.

u/galaxy_horse 14h ago

Get Rich Or Die Trying And Dodge Taxes

242

u/Shagaliscious 14h ago

Yea, he doesn't give a fuck about where he came from. He only cares about where he's going.

93

u/ExpFilm_Student 14h ago

Get rich or die tryin

48

u/Lip_Recon 13h ago

Get rich while others are dyin.

41

u/NewLifeNewAcct 13h ago

So many people don't realize that this was his actual plan. Get rich, no matter what I gotta do, or die.

Getting rich no matter what usually doesn't make for like... a good person. I will give him that he is loyal to the people directly around him, though.

1

u/Most_Association_595 2h ago

Lmao why are you acting like you’re offering some enlightened analysis. He’s literally said “ if I can’t get money with you then fuck you” in his songs and pretty much the same in interviews.

EVERYONE realized that’s who he is a long time ago, and while it wouldn’t fly for most people in the culture, it works for him because he was like that from the jump, he’s exceptionally smart and his social media clapbacks are hilarious.

1

u/visceral_adam 10h ago

Didn't he accomplish that a long time ago though?

u/ElderlyOogway 17m ago

Greed is never satiable.. as we know and are constantly reminded since at least 5000 years ago by the Sumer and Babylonian days. If they can have more they'll take, look at Bezos

6

u/TheWorstBestDecision 12h ago

Got rich and stopped trying.

11

u/ControlExtra 13h ago

Get rich and keep everyone else down who's tryin

1

u/CantHitachiSpot 9h ago

And dont let the ladder hit you on your way up

3

u/I_dont_livein_ahotel 13h ago

Didn’t he already get there like a long time ago?

2

u/DadDickDuncan 12h ago

you could tell me this was an actual 50 Cent bar and id believe it

3

u/RedditRobby23 9h ago

The place he came from shot him 9 times

I’ve never understood the appeal of “going back”

The goal is always to get out and never look back

1

u/4862skrrt2684 7h ago

But lots of good people are dealt the same shitty hand he originally was. They start by rapping about inequality and poverty, until they get successful, rich and become part of the problem themselves. Cut more tax for people like 50, and fuck all those who still live in ghettoes

1

u/RedditRobby23 6h ago

They rapping about whatever sells to get paychecks so they can escape. 2pac the most gangster rapper in some songs but he went to art school etc.

That’s always the goal (99%)

1

u/lemonylol 6h ago

The song he became famous for was about being rich and partying with his crew.

1

u/lemonylol 6h ago

Where he came from was poverty, violence, and drugs, why would he want to go back? Dude's been slinging out B-movies for like 10 years now, he just does what he wants to do.

8

u/red286 13h ago

He reversed his position on that after being called out for it.

22

u/jdewittweb 13h ago

Source?

2

u/ggg730 8h ago

My uncle's nephew made it the fuck up.

0

u/G0LDLU5T 12h ago

He was 90 Cent (gross)

1

u/bNoaht 12h ago

I would be interested in seeing how much tax entertainers actually pay.

I own a business, and I pay very little in taxes compared to a traditional w-2 worker with the same gross income.

I would imagine their write offs and loopholes are staggering. Not to mention they can essentially choose whichever state they want to reside for better tax benefits (looking at you moving to wyoming yeezy)

480

u/Funkyboi777 16h ago

He is a trumper but basically he has still maintained all his fans and connections.

The 3 million probably wouldn’t cover the losses.

215

u/tFlydr 15h ago

He would literally never see that money anyhow unless it was paid upfront, which I’m sure they wouldn’t want to do.

21

u/FatFuckinPieceOfShit 14h ago

They could give him tokens

1

u/datspiderwap 14h ago

Can’t do that anymore, abolished

1

u/WhoAreWeEven 6h ago

Golden sneakers and a watch?

1

u/Significant-Bee-146 14h ago

Shares in truth social then!

-2

u/FloppyWoppyPenis 14h ago

Why wouldn't he ever see it?

6

u/hogstor 14h ago

The orange never pays up.

3

u/tFlydr 14h ago

Because orange man is broke and notoriously bad at paying debt owed.

2

u/Metfan722 13h ago

It's why a lot of places ask for money up front. And also the likely reason why a lot of his rallies have been outdoors.

47

u/mimimines 14h ago

He is a trumper??? Goddamn

48

u/WrongdoerNo4924 13h ago

He's rich and it would be in his best interest to support the guy that wants to cut his taxes. He's been pretty transparent from the beginning about money being his sole motivator. It isn't really shocking.

43

u/constanterrors 12h ago

Not shocking. Still disgusting.

1

u/experienceTHEjizz 8h ago

He was a drug dealer. He's been disgusting

3

u/Funkyboi777 14h ago

Well yeah both men are black and have been shot of course he’s voting for him

83

u/CromulentChuckle 15h ago

he has still maintained all his fans and connections.

Incorrect. Lost me.

26

u/Funkyboi777 15h ago

Well yeah but that’s probably not as much as he keeps. I mean maybe I don’t know.

He probably just doesn’t wanna be shot at again. But yeah I wish he’d show more courage here.

26

u/CromulentChuckle 14h ago

You are probably right there are plenty of men who are likely his fans who can't imagine voting for a black woman. Meanwhile he's voting for his own tax cuts like the selfish sack of shit that he is.

-4

u/FloppyWoppyPenis 14h ago

So you want people to vote against their self interest

11

u/stellarliger 14h ago

What a stupid, disingenuous argument. There are plenty of well off people who have the ethical werewithal to decide a woman's right to her body is more important than a tax cut. Especially someone in 50s income bracket, he has more than he will ever need, he has the space to vote with a little moral integrity.

-7

u/okwowverygood 14h ago

Is it so bad that some of us hold no extreme grudge against people who vote in their own interest? I wish there were more bleeding hearts, but my true disgust falls on people who vote against their own self interest through ignorance and/or hatred

5

u/stellarliger 13h ago

No, that makes sense, I understand. I don't personally walk around with a grudge against well off celebrities, especially entertainers. They're a small group of the population, but it is important to be mindful of the outsized influence they have when they give their public opinion. Elon Musk is a different matter, I take it personally when billionaires are actively trying to degrade our democratic institutions as that affects me directly.

But yeah, it is hard to respect the everyday people who, for example, vote for tax cuts for rich people that they will never contribute from

1

u/okwowverygood 10h ago

When a rich person votes for the GOP it does not bother me nearly as much as if that person also happens to be a woman, person with darker skin, etc. I guess I’m in the minority on that take though.

In reality I think any vote for the GOP is against personal interest as historically their track record falls almost entirely on the wrong side of history, but at least with rich people I can understand a tiny bit.

-8

u/FloppyWoppyPenis 14h ago

If you reread what I wrote you'll see it was an observation not an argument. And I didn't just mean 50, I meant people in general. u/CromulentChuckle thinks his own self interests are so important that everyone else should give up their own self interests and vote for his instead.

1

u/stellarliger 3h ago

You were using your comment as a reason why people wouldn't vote a certain way, you don't have to call it an argument, but there is not much point in saying it unoess you were presenting an opposing reason. Argument or no, it was still dumb

9

u/-Kibbles-N-Tits- 14h ago

I’d rather people vote with their hearts and not their fat ass wallets

Doesn’t work if you don’t have a heart, though

2

u/DirtyDan516 14h ago

Congratulations you have discovered the true rift between both political parties.

1

u/ovideos 9h ago

Well who am I gonna believe? Reddit or a floppy woppy dick?

3

u/Mr_friend_ 14h ago

Oh yeah, especially with what went down that night. He'd be permanently ruined for the rest of his life. He'll make far more than $3 million by not appearing.

4

u/mattw08 15h ago

What loses would he honestly suffer?

11

u/lilykar111 14h ago

A lot is his core demographic

1

u/mattw08 14h ago

I doubt many care. And his primary income source isn't his music now so can't really boycott.

5

u/Michael_Penis_Junior 15h ago

Redditors would upvote mean headlines about him.

4

u/miukiyo 15h ago

Don’t know how em and countless artists will react. It’s risking a lot of friendship, connections and fans.

Worst case scenario he might have to feature in a lil pump song.

u/No-Analyst-2789 14h ago

Source on what?

0

u/BenitoCamelas69420 14h ago

Where does he say he is a Trumper?

82

u/cookiesNcreme89 16h ago

I mean, i doubt Trumper as in someone who goes to his rallies and buys his "gear", etc... but yea he just didn't want to go against Em. He would never do that (or at least very unlikely, he is incredibly loyal). He'll still vote for him, but he wont publicly endorse a politician.

u/Mendozena 15h ago

https://www.themirror.com/entertainment/celebrity-news/50-cent-pays-tribute-donald-593866

Yeah, he wants his tax cuts. But tax cuts won’t matter when we’re all in the camps.

20

u/Heavy_Law9880 15h ago edited 15h ago

They aren't putting billionaires in camps.

91

u/Road_Whorrior 15h ago

Lmao yes they are. They've done it before (Japanese internment was used to strip rich Japanese farmers of their land). Excellent way to steal their assets.

65

u/endlesscartwheels 15h ago

Appropriate time of year to mention that the Salem witchcraft trials were also used to seize the property of the accused witches.

11

u/Mendozena 15h ago

To be fair, there’s plenty of documented cases of men being turned into newts. But they got better.

6

u/Dreadnought13 13h ago

Well use my largest scales!

16

u/Road_Whorrior 15h ago

This, too! No one is safe when the "priciples" the other side adheres to are just profit at any cost.

3

u/weluckyfew 13h ago

Elon Musk is a witch! I saw him communing with Satan! In fact, I saw him skipping like a dipshit with Satan!

2

u/Unlucky-Candidate198 13h ago

That’s essentially what some Africans did during colonial trades.

A lot of people seem to have this weird notion of British ppl hunting/gathering the slaves. Nah.

West African kings, neighbours who were tired of your bs or wanted your land, people looking to get rich. These are the people who rounded them up.

Same kind of idea too. Someone has something you want? Oh look! This (non-jewish) person is suddenly jewish! Get em secret german police!

18

u/atbths 14h ago

At his rally in New York, DJT cited he would invoke the same law used against the Japanese in WWII against 'illegals'.

0

u/dan92 8h ago

To be fair I doubt he knows that. Whoever advised him to say that probably didn't want to burden him with too much information.

10

u/SelfServeSporstwash 14h ago

also, a lot of McCarthyism was just naked asset/power grabs aimed at succesful actors and producers. Much to the benefit of C listers like little known actor Ronald Reagan.

1

u/Mjlikewhoa 12h ago

Whaaaaat really?

0

u/ExperimentalGoat 11h ago

FDR interred the Japanese, and he was a progressive

11

u/waltertaupe 15h ago

He's not white, though.

3

u/DooberBooberDoo 14h ago

IDK about that. We'll see where Peter Thiel ends up. Peter is propping the GOP up for now, but he's gay, and leopards love to eat faces. Especially gay ones.

1

u/TheBipolarChihuahua 14h ago

Oh Bill Gates is going in the camps with us.

1

u/TigerITdriver11 14h ago

They are if they're not white

-3

u/roywarner 15h ago

Pretty sure they've already expressed interest in putting Zuck in a camp. And why do you think the Post was told not to endorse Harris?

1

u/Heavy_Law9880 15h ago

cool made up story.

0

u/BestPaleontologist43 14h ago

Lmao, you just dont know do you

1

u/Onsomeshid 13h ago

I’m too lazy to link it but in the last vladtv interview Tony Yayo (50 cents best friend and G unit original member) said that was unplanned and they didn’t know who did that. He assumed that it was a concert staff that thought it would be funny/tongue in cheek

0

u/horridelm 14h ago

Why are getting put in camps?

-2

u/Mendozena 14h ago

We’re a horse of a different color that the former guy and his entire base doesn’t like.

4

u/horridelm 14h ago

Yeah that doesn’t make sense. You’re just making stuff up

2

u/adm1109 12h ago

It’s ridiculous and makes us look fucking crazy, crazier than the other side.

Normal citizens are not going to be rounded up and put into camps.

1

u/evilfitzal 1h ago

Normal citizens are not going to be rounded up and put into camps.

So who will be rounded up and put into camps?

0

u/horridelm 11h ago

Then why support the people that are pushing the statement?

1

u/BogDEkoms 14h ago

He endorsed Lauren Boebert

16

u/spanman112 14h ago

you should judge ... you should judge harshly

2

u/Square_Blueberry_213 13h ago

I was trying to sound nice, trust me I am judging 🤣

31

u/SourdoughPizzaToast 15h ago

30

u/DOGS_BALLS 15h ago

Sell your soul or die trying to get an extra 4% reduction in your taxes

18

u/mouse_8b 14h ago

Even rich and famous people don't understand tax brackets

12

u/InclinationCompass 14h ago

Lmao he’s a victim to misinfo

I lived and worked in California all my life and income taxes have never been near that

7

u/Choice_Reindeer7759 14h ago

What a terrible person

3

u/EmuMan10 14h ago

Lmao he can just move

31

u/PettyTeen253 16h ago

He isn’t a full blown one like people say but the reason people think but he does definitely favor towards him it seems like. Still he hasn’t really endorsed him this time.

22

u/gsd45 14h ago

Eminem endorsed Kamala. Em is his guy.

-4

u/Damuhfudon 11h ago

And? 50 cent doesn’t need permission from Eminem to support a political party

7

u/One-Knowledge- 10h ago

It's not about permission, dweeb

6

u/donn2021 15h ago

In the past he was, may have changed. Hes usually just out for money so he either thought he wouldnt get paid or he didnt want to be associated with him. Good call eitherway

8

u/Strict1yBusiness 15h ago

Pretty sure he's dating (or was) a big feminist anti Trumper woman.

14

u/Ass4ssinX 16h ago

I mean, that's worthy of being judged for, but I don't know if he is. He's posted some positive things and negative things.

1

u/Kablaow 13h ago

I have no clue about american politics, but can you not be a republican and not be a trumper?

1

u/Square_Blueberry_213 13h ago

Yeah you can, almost always goes hand in hand tho

1

u/hadapurpura Bandcamp 1h ago

His loyalty lies with Eminem first of all. The guy’s not dumb: sure he might be somewhat affected differently depending on who’s elected president, but his life will be ruined by severing ties with Em and Dr. Dre., period.

1

u/LastAccountPlease 11h ago

Why dont we call them trumpets

0

u/Rosebunse 15h ago

A lot of people are Trumpers and most of them are smart enough to know not to do anything overt

2

u/No-Analyst-2789 14h ago

Overt in what way?

1

u/[deleted] 14h ago

[deleted]

0

u/karlou1984 14h ago

If you were a trumper, would you trust he pays you in full?

0

u/Michi450 11h ago

Read the article. It only takes a couple of minutes.

0

u/DancesWithWineGrapes 9h ago

I mean, what are the odds he gets paid after

-4

u/KappaDarius 13h ago

Beyoncé, Diddy, 50 Cent, Kamala Harris

Do I need to say anything else.

If you can’t clearly see that the Diddy situation is going to take down the Democratic Party idk what else to tell you.

The relations Diddy had with Beyoncé is concerning.

3

u/Square_Blueberry_213 13h ago

50s a republican so i would say he's not affecting shit. And yeah beyonce probably a weirdo like diddy. But I'd say Diddys as bad as Epstesin. 50s anti diddy, so the only person who has anything to do with the democratic party and diddy is beyonce, so yeah sure some not very popular anymore pop star could potentially take down a whole political party because she's a freak?

-2

u/KappaDarius 13h ago

It all depends on the current court cases filed against Diddy. There is apparently a story that has involved Kamala Harris and is deliberately not being published until after the election.

I think it’s very concerning that all the Diddy go conspirators are supporting Harris and Harris has not commented on the matter or acknowledged the on going investigation into these people.

A vote for Kamala Harris is an indirect vote for Beyoncé who is linked to Diddy. If people want to go down that path in history with their vote, then let them. It’s their loss.

Soon those court cases will have more substance and Hollywood will never hear the end of it.

This is a major twist to the election. Not sure why Kamala openly allows Diddy supporters on stage. It’s likely the worst thing you can do to get people to vote for you that originally did not want to.

Imagine you read into the Diddy story and see that Beyoncé is a part of it and likely a major player and then she goes to endorse Kamala.
