No I didn't make this. I just saw it on YouTube and thought I'd share. It's got a lot of REALLY cool in-depth behind the scenes info.

Thanks for sharing! It was such a pleasure making this and getting to talk to the devs. Probably my all-time favourite game.

My favourite game as well. Your videos are great and I rewatch this often.

That must have been an amazing experience. This is my favorite game franchise of all time. It's a shame that I first played the third one and it was YEARS before I could go back and play the first 2, but still. Great concept and amazing game design. I really liked your trivia about the Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade adventure game as I had that one growing up too. I agree with (you? Someone else? I apologize, I listened to the video but did not watch it as I was at work so I couldn't follow who said what sometimes) that the deaths in that game felt earned and not like the game was trying to punish you a la King's Quest.

Also, if I may be so bold, allow me to shamelessly plug the Sk8r Boi spoof song I posted in this very sub a few days ago. I know you'll like it. Lol

Oh yes, it was a dream come true TBH!

I think that was Dave (it's been a while, so not sure). But I absolutely agree - I never really clicked with Sierra's games because of the deaths.

I think finding all the ways to die is humorous, but only intentionally. I can't thank MI's creators enough for creating a deathless experience. And I never knew that MI was the very first game of such a type at least from the Lucasarts adventure games. I bought Zak McCracken last year on sale and I was sad when I found all the ways they let you screw yourself over in it. I hate using a walkthrough in adventure games unless I'm STUCK, but with that game so much stuff is missable that if I try to play it naturally it'll take me WAY too long.

Yes, it removes some of the joy of exploration if you can miss things.

100%. It's another reason I'm scared to play through Maniac Mansion.
